The famous MP3 issue in mugen.

I guess, well, I need some help. This seems to be a common problem around the mugen community. The famous "MP3 studdering issue". Where it studders like TERRIBLY when no in-game sound is being made.My friend told me there is a patch for it, but I can't find it(please don't say use google, I have). Can someone help me find this sound patch for MP3?

open your mugen.cfg in notepad.....

go to the plugins section.

add this line:
plugin = looptype=2, plugins/in_mp3.dll, mp3

that would work BUT, i cant use any filesharing sites right now  im getting a Mac, i cant stand windows vista anymore

I dont understand how you cant use file sharing sites but i can and im using vista... I dont think mugen will work on a mac though....


Ok back on topic...
What i did is i found someplace that showed me how to tweek my plugin, and i took choujin's plugin and tweeked it slighly and my music works fine now..
Wish i could remember where i learned how to do it..

Another fix you can do is to turn off hardware acceleration for your audio device.

Windows

Control Panel > Sound and Audio Devices > Audio Tab > Advanced button for your audio device > Performance Tab > set acceleration to "none"

well uh i did the " dash config plugins " which looks like this unless i did it wrong ( -config plugins ) and i got some message that i wasnt allowed to offer

You're welcome. I found that fix on some other forum, but I can't remember where.
