kamakaze dude,

You did it AGAIN?. Aww man this really bites dude.... Why did you make everything 1.0 only.... Alot of your fans still use win mugen. So why do that? What's with the 1.0 only stuff.... Jeez dude.... Always gotta be accurate with everything, its taking the fun out of everything....Sorry man, but i'm not switching to something that still has alot of bugs just to play with these.... I'm grateful for you taking your time to make these creations but, it wouldnt have hurt you to let them stay compatible for win mugen as well, just sayin.

ok so wait a sec man. why is are they even makin a 1.1 and they not even fixed 1.0? i was thinkin of using 1.0 for my project screenpack but i had to remember alot of peeps still use old winmugen. is winmugen plus ok then and why converting all the characters to 1.0 . hmm maybe should have 2 different sets one for 1.0 and one for winmugen? just a suggestion to level out peeps that havent converted.

winmugen has far more bugs than 1.0 ever could hope to. 1.0 supports more things to make my stuff more accurate like palette swtching for zangief and of course instant AI activation. In fact, the only real reason everyone hasn't switched yet is because people can use their HR screen packs from a hacked version of mugen. Elecbyte made sure everything worth having worked in 1.0. So if you want to use a unofficial hack over the real engine go ahead but I will not support it.

Edit: Name one bug that 1.0 mugen has that will effect you. I ask any of you to.

Yeah see thats what i wanna know cause i have Hloader screenpack and i love it but i am hearing all ths nay says on 1.0 but i am not gettin reasons why the nay says. like what bugs or errors does 1.0 have vs winmugen? i really need to know from tech point of view cause that will solidify my decision on which to go with for the project.

The main reason I don't have both anymore is because I don't use winmugen. I don't even have it anymore. That and the differences between common.cns' are too different to bother with anymore since 1.0's common.cns is 100X more efficient prone to no errors. Not to mention the extra customization it allows over the old. From a character stand point and from a stage standpoint 1.0 is clearly better in all cases.

In a nutshell, as soon as 1.0 has a version of the AlphaStorm screenpack, I'll make the switch in a moment.  And no, Epoch of Anarchy doesn't count; it's too complicated  :DxDie

Also, I understand what you are saying about WinMugen+ being a hack and unofficial.  Fair enough.  But still, that doesn't change anything about my stance.  Victory quotes ARE pretty cool, though.

This is the only reason why I havn't switched yet. I want to know that Elecbyte has a firm build that won't require me to go through all my chars again to make an update to get them to work. In other words, I intend on updating my chars once for 1.0, once I'm sure it will only be once. I totally support your conversion to the new platform, we'll all be there someday.

Back on topic, I really appreciate these updates. Thanks Kamakaze!

Thank you Kamekaze for an excellent MVC2 Juggy.  You do good work and you strive for accuracy, which is always welcome.

I agree as 1.0 is definitely more stable than WinMugen/WinMugen+, but I see where Acey and other creators are coming from.  Unless you're completely in the loop with what Elecbyte is planning to do differently with 1.1 as opposed to 1.0, why would you want to update all you characters/stages, if you're going to need to do another update when 1.1 comes out?  It just seems like more work that could wait until the "official" version comes out.

i can agree with that. thats why i wanna make sure i am going for the best i can get outta the project we are doing. now i know 1.1 will utilize that zoom in and out feature but still dont know when its going to drop and will it be as friendly per say to code for especially with screenpacks  and characters . the  project wont be out for quite some time but i just wanna make sure i got all i need set in place , streamlined. thats just how i do things. lol.

anything updated to 1.0 standards works indefinitely on 1.1, I know this personally since I'm a tester of it. So yes it's worth it to update your stuff cause not much will change character wise on 1.1 MUGEN. The stuff that does does not require any action on our parts unless you are absolutely sure you wanna mess around with it.

My point exactly! This is why i haven't switched over as well. All i'm saying is that you could have did what pots did, leave a link for the winmugen version and a link to the 1.0 version, but i realize that will never happen. You brought up good points and i can respect that.

Why are you complaining that it doesn't work in your crashfest of a Winmugen

Why are you complaining because people are telling you their opinion?

aight , good good point there. i was hoping you was gonna say that. i just have to make sure the characters will work in 1.0 so they can transition to 1.1 with no problems. like i can used mr infinites characters in both winmugen and 1.0 ( even tho i got justrid of my entire 2 year roster of winmugen and using a 1.0 hloader pack so i could gear up for the coming storm of new stuff that SHOULD be better..except for select peeps stuff aiduzzi stuff and seanalty's , kept them  :P )  Good to know all that , so that zoom in and out feature is just automatic camera and i dont have to do anything tothe characters  #:-S . Now its just finding someone who good at makin em and i am straight on that front.

well the zoom feature can be turned on or off through on the stages of your choice anyway so its not really that important.

cool!
thats whats up, i know once its out and maybe by that time frame i can dref see a certain project afterwards the one we doing now can utilize that feature, heck the one we doing now could as well. but before 1.1 releases i def wanna check it out to see exactly how it flows. I am leaning more towards right now 1.0 for the project. gonna get more feedbacks on thought from da main crew and some others.  I like how 1.0 makes certain fx pop more. good look out on that Kamekaze

On topic: this juggy is cool , real cool. tried em in my Hloader screepack. works rather nicely.  So how many characters are you actually gonna release 1.0 anyway? ya whole rosters or just certain peeps?
