Yes, I thought about it, but I don't know yet if I must do the tonfa alone or clone the Maki's sprites with the tonfa in her hand..
A 360° of the tonfa when Maki is hit can be cool if the tonfa is an Helper.

This is an awesome set of projects. Maki looks awesome. I love that she has no tonfa. FF2 style is the way to go.

Cap's diving intro could be put to use as it's similar to Dean's dashing jump attack in FF3.

A suggestion for Maki. According to Capcom canon, Maki is the leader of an all-girl motorcycle gang. Here is an official artwork with her & her bike with Guy and Rena.


 


Perhaps you could work the bike into a intro/winpose?

About the picture, I thought about doing a Mad Gear guy stealing her motorcycle and she shouts and runs after it, but I will not do it.

I've talked with x-boy about easter-eggs in the game, and we have some great ideas where to put all these old pictures or all forgotten games by CAPsule COMputer and other videogame companies.
