CFAS Jill Valentine

Hi there.

As I said before, I'm making a Jill Valentine for CFAS. I will adapt a non-release Jill Valentine from Ex-Inferis, and old friend of mine, who made a excelent Valentine, very different from MVC's one.

I will post some shots here:






The last two pictures are from her fatalities (yes, she have two). I will lock it for the CFAS version, but I will let the people unlock if they want to.

ideas are welcome.

Judging from the screenshots, im guessing she'll be more weapons based? I really didn't like how she summoned zombies in MvC2, though thats your preference, really.

But she still has the zombies (two versions)

FYI, Magus's Jill has both of these things.  You could check her out for inspiration... then again, he is pretty sensitive for people using similar ideas, so maybe O's better off making one radically different so that we have both types and magus won't call foul  :DxDie

But yeah, Z, you should check that one.  Sounds like a character you would enjoy, that is, if you didn't know about it originally.

I second these. I never liked how she could summon Tyrant.

Also maybe she could do the wall jump?

relax....this Valentine was started in 2006 by Ex-Inferis http://forum.mgbr.net/index.php?s=&showtopic=43701&view=findpost&p=680068 and I fear no one.

The only summon that I plan to use is the zombie ones. No dogs, crows and tyrant.

Edit: I got that version. LOL, no, our versions are different. At all.

^Well, yeah... the only reason I say that is while Magus is SOMETIMES incredibly reasonable and well-founded in what he says, at times it almost seems like he makes excuses to stir up sh*t.  Especially with what happened with Wolvenom, DT found out that he was accidentally using some of Ariel's sprites, so the team took it down until this could be fixed, and he addressed the issue publicly.  To which Magus responds by shouting "herp derp, THIEVES!!!!1 LOLZ" more or less  :DxDie But I'll make this the last I say of the matter to avoid topic hijacking and/or causing more forum drama.

Back on topic, Jill looks real promising.  Your attention to detail with Shadow Man gives me high hopes for an awesome Resident Evil-inspired Jill with epic CFAS gameplay.

Even so, the second "fatality" picture (in which the blue Jill is standing in front of a bunch of Zombies in R. City), the background looks a tad color loss-y.  Might wanna iron that out a bit to make it a little less fuzzy.  I also might suggest adding a few new zombie sprites rather than simply recoloring the MvC ones.  Then again, I haven't yet played RE Remake (the graphically improved Gamecube one) so I don't know what the RE1 zombies currently look like.  Just an idea, though.

intro looks cool too.
i dont like zombie strikers and fatalities, but its just me.

another ideia is remove the fire effet to her shoulder bash special or hyper...
i dont get capcom chars, but i tink will open somes spots.

molotv is a nice ideia,i tink i saw a better bottle at metalslug

I won't add that shoulder bash. She is very skinny and tiny, its an illogical move.

1.)Is she exclusive to CFAS or can she be downloaded for general MUGEN fighting?
2.)Is the reload her taunt (like Lobo) or that part at the end with her walkie (or is that part of one of her supers)
3.) Exactly how much of her moveset is in tact (maybe 40-50%?)

1) she will released using CFAS template, but that template works in general mugen. And I will release her before the project, for sure.
2) its not a taunt. She needs to make it to be able to shot more.
3) You mean intact? I think that the only move that play like the MVC version is one of the zombies. The rest, is different.
