SNK to Capcom style sprites

Hi.  Recently, I started spriting and editing sprites.
I want to make characters for mugen.  I saw some tutorials of sprite edits (YouTube, marancv's website, frankensprite...etc).  

Especially, I enjoy editing SNK sprites.  I edited some sprites to Capcom style (MVC, CVS, etc).

I decided to ask for help because I'd like to know what I need to do and improve my sprite skill before making characters.  There are a lot of sprite professionals in IMT.  If anyone reading this topic, could you give me feedback, please?  Thanks in advance.
