Hi there.

Here is a beta of Shadowman, from the Mega Man series, for the upcomming project Capcom Fighting All Stars. He will be avaliable on the Rockman Battle Arena project too.

He has:
-----------------------------
- All the basics
- Supers and Hypers
- Striker
- AI

What is missing:
-----------------------------
- More voices
- few supermoves
- Hypermoves (the one with the Frog and the LVL3 hyper)

:o Awesome, never expected a release so soon! Going to test him out. :w00t:

Tried him out, he's pretty awesome. :thumbsup: Though, I think he should have a different air dash sprite, since the current one is running on air. :P But, that's only my opinion at the moment. Otherwise, I haven't seemed to have found any glitches so far.

Watch him in watch mode and you will see a lot of combos.


Just a little thing to me I guess is that the basics don't chain into each other like I'm used to. The attacks themselves are awesome though, love the air HK.

Shadowman uses the Stronger combo style. So it's Weak to Medium and then strong.

Anyway, feedback;

-Is it just me, or does the flying intro look mis-aligned?
-His HCF + K (the Izuna drop) seems a bit weak when the opponent hits the ground.
-His jumping forward and backward speeds seem a little too fast.
-Some trouble air comboing.
-Weird question, but why does the screen turn blood red when you defeat an opponent? Just asking.

This is the CFAS style (the weak-medium-strong works), so he doesn't chains like Elecman does, for example. The air HK comes from Gato, that was my request for Gate :)

- It is a few pixels off at the end. I think I already fixed it...maybe I've overwritten accidentally.
-78 points of damage. You're right, it need to me a bit stronger.
- He is intentionally fast.
- No, there is no issue. You just need to time it better. I can combo it very easily.
- Its just something that I like and I will suggest for the CFAS project. Its to draw attention more to the chars.

I just tried this out and it's solid. Didn't find no type of bugs whatsoever.

Congratulations in the release man  :thumbsup:. Will download once I return to Windows, but from the first beta this can just get better and better.
About comboability: there'll be a lot of different combo series (the old known "Magic Series"). I'll post more about it in the project topic in time.

Tried him out for a couple of minutes and he plays really good. Haven't found any major bugs yet but I'll report if I find any. Thanks for the release. :thumbsup:

hey shadowman is really good as is! and you gonna patch him? wow. well if he this good i can only imagine what else you got in store. oh yeah the ninja vanish trick he does caught me wayyy off guard, i was like oh heck a Glitch?  /:O but then i realized it was actually a move. lol. see what happens when ya take ya eyes off the screen for a sec. lol good character and pretty solid. :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Hey, O, my friend had a suggestion for a new HP. He suggested having the current HP to become the MP, and have the new HP as a swipe of a ninja sword. I thought the idea was pretty cool. What's your thought on it? Also, he said that the running speed is a bit too slow to match the current running sprites, which I think is also a good idea to update. Otherwise, still a pretty awesome character. :thumbsup:

Mediafire is weird sometimes.
 

you aint lying eitherbro. mediafire was giving me issues alot. so i stopped using it . it used to work great but when i even tried to upload simple small files it was lagging or not loading the material at all and one was just 1.5 mb. so i been using sendspace lately for uploads.
