I like the general idea...but it looks like he's trying to high-five a couple of people. Maybe simply moving his right hand might improve the guard look.

i like the idea of him being kinda cocky stadning still straight and keeping that as a high/mid block as well make a low block sorta similar. OR you could make that block actually be an attack if you dont use it as a block. plus the counter thats was suggested is a great idea too. Quicksilver looks great! :thumbsup:

you think its strange? i mean maybe that stance is a bit strange but not the initial move itself. he is a speed character in the marvel world so i would figure he would use a speed move to deflect any oncoming attack.  i would take this move other then the traditional shoulder block or face/ chest guard we have come to use and know of. gives pietro some depth and more along what expected of his marvel comic counterpart. Long as he doesnt become too much like the Flash . Difference is key. keep up the good work Zvitor.

i agree with you it does indeed play well into is character. I say have him shading up with back turned slightly to the opponent doing the same hand guster yawning into to the other hand or add a smerk to the current block stance.

yeah i was going to say Karin. cause thats the only real character i know that has a yawning pose. But if you cant use ideas without bases then i guess maybe somehow if you wanted to would incorperate the Flash tornado spin for that counter thingy. just an idea and there is a base for it. but that hit back gif you made thats not a block anim. is actually a neat idea. .  :thumbsup: :thumbsup: Ya character is looking good tho. your own concepts you made are really great. keep up the good work. definetly watching quicksilver progress. :)

You get it all wrong. I never said that the speed move is wrong (in fact, is right). What I'm saying is the old error: you can't make a sprite to move just one part while all the other are frozen. ZV knows what I'm talking.

Plus, initially he said that it was the block anim, then:

You can make a hyper with the Scarlet Witch or with the  Magneto!!!
You can also make a winning pose with the concept that Magneto appears and that quicksilver kneel to him and takes his commanders!!!
