I played the demo a whie ago and was not impressed at all. It still has the jam on the one attack button plus assist for combos, then bait a high recovery chakra move then hit the opponnent withyour own. i personally think smash is a deeper fighting game system and thats saying . It looks pretty though i will give it that the graphics are gdlk. And the ppl im living with have this preordered so i might play it more but otherwise i would only scoop this out the bargain bin. If you wanna support a series with tourney level potential and well thought out gameplay go get naruto shippuden clash of ninja revolution 3. Ifd you wand very pretty eye candy and are a big enough fan to drop those 60 bones on day one have at it.

still gettin it! . i think its not as deep as say a virtua fighter but its not supposed to be. Its naruto . I am a fan of course but trust and believe if this game sucked then i wouldnt buy it. i played the first and loved it. The reason being is because its different....and of course the special moves and graphics are eye candy and beyond.  As for Smash....uhhhg. Its aight but it surely dont meet my standards. not saying its not a goood game but its not no where near my play style i like in fighting games. To me Smash is a party game only.  I hated playing it by myself. sucked but with some friends it was cool. But thats just my opinion. The other naruto games are ok to nahhh. this one really pulls away especially with the graphics and specials. they deliver on that. as far as actual gameplay its what i would expect from naruto in an anime form. I actually feel like one of the characters playing instead of just playing a character. thats the lore of it i figure.  I did think in the first one that one button jam thingy was mgonna suck but its mostly because i based it off of all the previous fighting games i was accustomed too. But i found that you cant go in playing these type gameplay games like that. Even in Smash. , now because you suggested it i think i will try naruto ship. clash of ninja revolution 3, i havent played that one myself so i will try it but if its just on a tourney level that i will find satisfaction with it then it will probably sit in the stash until i feel like going tourney with it like that. . i dont really mind the controls cause i never played ninja storm or clash only ultimate and rise
to me ultimate was way to easy and Rise was really good but really short story they need to step up
and i hope the next rise would just go up to the same fight with pain

the comparison to smash came from the fact that this game has just one attack button. and that it pretty much is a party game with a Naruto skin. Yes CoR3 is gdlk it still retains some of that oversimplified control nonsense but it works and yes there is a semi thriving tourney scene for it.

if you played ultimate it'll be pretty familiar to you its basically like storm is to ultimate as  tenkaichi is to budokai. The ubisoft games had potential to me at first but after playing the second and seeing how little the combat was upgraded as well as covering si little of the story made it clear to me that there only intention for the series is to make a quick buck.

I have little patience for these game companies tryna take me for a fool.

I feel you. I guess i just got a different vibe from naruto storm series than from playing brawl. the game layout for naruto is just on a different plane with me and it sticks. Plus the graphical detail just beckons me to  play. . Yeah i am a narutard in a sense i guess.    But i dont think i can play Cor3 cause isnt that for the just the wii? i got just an xbox 360 and psp. Well if they do have it for 360 i will make sure i try it out see how good or bad it is.
