Warusaki3s Violent Ken

Is there a way to split Warusaki3s Ken in two different charakters, Ken and Violent Ken on the selectscreen?
I already created a second .def file and seperated the palletes amont these two, but a certain palette of Violent Ken always is messed up and has the state of normal Ken.

Actually I did the same with P.o.t.S.s Ryu and it seems to work, no messed up sprites there. I wonder where the difference could be.

it depends on how its coded.

All creators do not code the same you know.unless you do this,

copy the contents in the cvsken folder, make another folder named cvsvken and paste everything from the cvsken folder into the cvsvken folder.

now rename the def file to cvsvken.def and open the def file and remove lines pal 1-6.
change pal lines 7-12 into 1-6 and save.

Now you have vken as a separate character.

also change the display name to Violent Ken

Thats what I already tried, but that gives me a normal Ken with Violent Kens sprites but none of its states and stuff.
If I leave the lines at 7-12 however, one certain state still always is the one of normal Ken.  :( :( :(

Close, but it's cns related stuff. I haven't done it for like a year.

He needs to understand coding to figure it out.

I dont feel like going through this, Its a pain.

just do the seperate folder thing and remember to hold enter when picking a character, Vken is pal activated.

That way I have the problem that the cpu wont always select him seperate as the Violent version, but I guess I have to live with that.
