I only say that because Shadowcat hardly ever wore her hair in a ponytail in the comics, only in the short lived X-Men Evolution cartoon, so it would make sense to see her let her hair down at some point.

I thought she also had her hair in a band in the comics as well. At least in some comics

I think she did whenever she was in costume

The only time in the comics that she had a ponytail was in Astonishing X-Men. Which is the same costume that is seen here in this mugen char as well.

with current base , shading was cvs style many do not like .

@Ponytail Debate: X-Men Evolution had four seasons o-O Four seasons is far from "short-lived."

On the note of X-Men Evolution, wouldn't mind an alternate costume.

Edit: While I'm here, I might as well add my opinion of the bases. I think the SNK look suits Kitty MUCH better than the thunder-thighs of Capcom. The styles don't clash too much anyways, I usually can't tell the difference.

Also, I've been thinking of adding a collar to the costume. Anyone agree?

i dont think its necessary, with the collar, onlycoz it might not suit the other pallets, but i dont know,can you post a pic of the pallets with the new maki base. with and without collar,might be easier to tell then

I feel you all should know, B-5 kinda left Kitty to make his own version so now THIS Kitty is being continued by myself, Arkady, and Trexrell over at CVG.

We're making her for CVG's Marvel Kombat but I still hope to make a Project X port of Kitty

Luckily we've gotten a good amount of progress: Most of her standing attacks, all of her air attacks (Ark said he just needs to change a few changes), Trex is handling the ducking attacks, and I'm almost done with the gethits.
