im still not sure about frozen all screen hyper, is a nice ideia, but i cant find/do nice effects to it....

That move looks great. Wish I could help you find FXs needed for that hyper, I really don't know anyone that has what you might need. Maybe try taking glass type FXs and recolor them to have a more ice like feel.? TvC glass FXs might work for this.

The progress on Iceman is looking good. The special and hyper moves look good, but I'm not entirely too thrilled about his stance...maybe it will grow on me.

Really nice video, it looks like you've done a whole bunch of things so far. Like what, Vitamin mentioned, his stance seems a little strange looking, like his upper body is stiff. I like when everything turns into ice, his large arms attack and the surfing too.

perfect bridge, hypers are awesome, i think zvitor has nailed bobby drake, all the moves are new, improved,
even the win poses are cool (no pun intended) and i love the iced up backround,

Also, kinda thought the giant arms animation was going to be an air special or the end to a beat up hyper, maybe. IMO it doesn't seem big enough for a hyper by itself.

few questions.

like batzarro what does freezing the stage do?

will he be given back ice shards auroa around his wrist like he orignially had?


and again like batzarro said maybe the big fist should be the finisher of a combo for the hyper.

ice shade is really diferentfrom skin/costumes shades,maybe some smart are possible,but will not look cool (i tink)

still working on that, actually i coded it to be exactly like i want, but in end it look unuseful, well, freeze reduce enemy horizontal speed at floor,but gambit jump a lot... will tink about another function....

If possible within the coding, could make all of P2's basic movements slower for the stage freezing hyper. I think it'd be much more useful then. If you're not thinking about making the opponent slower anymore, maybe it could make all of Iceman's attacks a bit more powerful. A third idea would be that Iceman gains a teleportation type move during this hyper. Sorta like he becomes part of the floor and can rebuild himself anywhere he wants. Though, I'm not sure if this last suggestion would fit the spectrum of his powers. If the last idea is liked, I'd combine it with one of the first two ideas as it wouldn't be enough for a hyper alone either.

Some people think that a freezing beam is a cheap move, but C'mon is Iceman!
Is a must have, I think at least as a Hyper, he could freeze the opponent with the beam, and then crash against him riding in his ice bridge.
I think the freezing stage hyper looks good, it lacks a heavy blizzard that can slow down the most fast fighters, and make some damage too.

Just an idea.

Frozen BG Hyper Ideas.

-Slippery for Opponents to stand on
-Slows down opponent (ice chunks grow over time on opponent)
-Iceman has stronger attacks and higher defence
-Blizzard damaging hailstorm

So far that's all i've seen
and I've agreed with these.

Maybe if you make his stomach look as if he's breathing a little, too if you feel like it. The effects you mentioned sounds like a nice idea, but overall it doesn't take anything away from your update, it's really great.

that last won is a weird idea. I Think it wont work, being to over powering but it is in Ices powers. Bob has been known to turn into water and mist at times.  this is usually when his powers rages out of control. It fits the technique tho.....

It's understandable if it would be considered too far out there for Iceman's power but how would it be overpowering in any way.? Nightcrawler, Dhalsim, Akuma, and plenty of others have some type of teleportation or another and none of which are broken in any sense. So, I don't really understand that comment.
