love the iceman char.. a few ideas....first the ice armor.. maybe he forms a ice mask??? all most like a ironman look to it??  I would think ice spikes on his forearms and knuckles would look sweet plus a few around his shins maybe a spike on each foot.. as long as it doesnt look like he's rocking elf shoes.  moves u could possibly think about....the ice ball changed to hail or ice storm??? like a 15 20 ice shards or spikes the fall from sky... a ice sled attack maybe??something like a sled battering ram thing he forms in front of him and crouches behind and shoots forward into targets.  i would think too his dash forward and retreats should be him sliding on ice.  like he puts a hand in front and slides forward and two hands behind him and slides backwards with one knee pointed forward almost like your feet and leg position looks when you try to moon walk.. if that makes sense hahaa.could he form ice gloves like the ultimate alliance iceman??  instead of the ice ball club thing.  I could go all day but thats a few idea i had for him.  thanks for taking input, look forward to his release...

Your making Iceman stand up straight? ( First post) I always thought capcom didn't do a good job on some characters posture

how about a iceman that focus on his ice ball attacks...using the large ice ball sprite he summons:

 .gatlin ice bal: just like his old hyper but you have to randomly press a punch button to have a total of 10 ice balls that shoot out

his body

 .supreme ice ball: shoot a giant ice ball (he bends over and as he rise up the giant iceball shoots across the screen)

 .ice ball man hyper: iceman makes a monster out of iceballs and iceman stands in the backround

 .epic hail hyper: giants ice balls fall south west/east to ground.

 .cold cocked(pp grab): he dash towards,grabs opponent hands turn into boulder multiple hits to opponent head

 .body freeze(kk grab): freeze opponent body inside ice boulder..pick up ice boulder on ground.

 .glacier crash lvl2 hyper:  jumps in air..(use his barrel roll sprite and put it inside the giant ice ball) when he hits the ground the

screen shakes and rolls towards opponent similar too cap america  sheild dash hyper.

 .ice crater cover stage lvl 3 hyper : a bomb comes out the sky with apocalypes face on it..exploding sprites every where, then a

white flash covers the screen fog backround, him and opponent standing on ice crystal floor (top of a gigantic ice ball)..iceman

moves very fast and moves in a sliding animation.

should get a level 3 hyper that just avalanches on top of player2, (like in the ultimate war comic, he kinda surfed on it a top of his ice bridge thingy whilst just behind him was an avalanche smashing down atop all the avangers) iceman saves the day ...yeah!

An idea for the intro: He comes to fight surfing in his ice bridge, he comes down and then he breaks it.

I'm so happy Iceman's finally got a revamp!
We had several Juggernaut/Spideman chars but Zvitor's are totally unique.
So I bet this Iceman will be outstanding.
Is kind of funny that you consider Jugg to be a custom char  ;*))

The freezing stage hyper that Bowasiel suggested looks crazy!

he is not mvc, mvc2 or msh.
i made him to be slow, strong, only 2 hits combos and without roll, to look like a tank.

what about character sprite sheets that have rock moves and color them light blue like..hulk, thanos, blackheart and doctor doom sprite sheets.

Sasquatch from Darkstalkers has a lot of nice ice effects which may be useful

Working on Man of Steel.? I'm thinking it's not Superman and will be Colossus, maybe.? As for Iceman, everything looks great so far. Personally though, I prefer the older hand positioning to the new ones for the icebeams.

We stopped checking for monsters under our bed when we realized they were inside of us.

awesome, bridge sprite , just needs to be a bit longer and have an extra sprite between the leg kick back
and will it have a trail of ice falling off of it?

A different suggestion: try reworking the Ice Beam. Seeing that it is integral on any other build, it should work a little different I think. Slow him down slightly, dealing less damage, like that you can disrupt enemies charging or comboing into them with practice - the time frame should be considerably short - but not spammable or less spammable at least.
The Ice pillar idea seems nice as well, could either work as Anti-Air or as chainable projectile counter. Like it stomps the opponent into the air, slams it back a little, just enough to be hit by the next pillar -> weak - medium - fierce.

The Ice Meteor and the Ice Fist charge are removed for now.

So here's my build up:
Buttons -> move
FF - Dash
FF (Air) -> Surfing on a iceboard
BB - Dash backwards

Specials
QCF P - Ice Beam (explained above)
DP P - Ice Pillar (explained above)
QCF K - Ice Ram (rushes forward, engulfed in ice, slamming into the enemy)
QCB P - Shield (negates enemy projectiles / attacks and gives a few frames for counterattacking - precise timing needed)

Supers
QCB PP - Helper (summons an ice golem helping you for a brief amount of time)
QCF KK - Super Ram (rushes forward Juggernaut-style)
QCF PP - Ice Meteor (the old Ice Meteor super)
insert random lvl3 command here - Ice Age

Ice Age - I'm thinking One Peace here. Maybe some of you know what I mean. Iceman kneels down, touching the ground, then mumbling Ice Age and freezing everything grounded over for the rest of the round, dealing more damage than a level 1 super. A balance check is needed whether it should freeze in air as well, slow setup time is a drawback. Can be done multiple times in a round, but the effect stays.

Overall Iceman becomes a more solid melee fighter, not relying as much on his ice beam. He can charge into the enemy using either ice ram, simple rush forward x combo or via Ice surfin'.

How bout a super where he freezes his opponents feet, powers up and blast his opponent with a hail storm. Like Storm's hail storm only the hail itself with come from his hands. Or instead of the hail he can create a huge spiked wall or boulder or something while his opponent is stuck to the floor and then blast it forward and smashes them.

   There have been a couple times in the comics where he had lost control of his powers, I think a neat hyper might be if Loki jumped in and touched his shoulder or if a transparent (telepathic form) Emma Frost jumped in his body and, there was like an overload blizzard that rained down for like a minute or so. During that time some how have like a freeze pattern to the opponent freezes in its place.I think this move would be similar to the Thor move when he make it rain, or I guess storms hail storm. This would also be a good place to use sprites in the style batzarro sampled and suggested.
   Also, I didn't see it mentioned, but, there was one time in the comics where he actually used the water in a pond or lake to become giant-sized. I know a lot of people might think, cheese, in mugen but, its just an idea.

any thoughts on keeping on the bridge as the stance, not just a flight move? might be intresting to have him gliding to and fro, instread of the boring capcom hands up stance, maybe have crouch as him off bridge
