MvC-EoH Gambit Updated

I've recently updated Gambit with everything else I wanted to add. Check this video out or head on over to my website to download him.

Here's the updates:
1. Added a custom get hit state recovery when p2 is hit by: HP, Jump HP, and
Jump HK
2. Cajun Explosion is now limited to 10 explosions.
3. Color of staff swing blurs can be changed.
NOTE: To change the color of the blur, use Fighter Factory (or any other Mugen
Character making program), find Sprite 1291, Number 0. Replace with either,
Sprite 1291, Number 1 for Red Blur, Sprite 1291, Number 2 for green blur,
or Sprite 1291, Number 3 for grayish blur.
4. Damage Values Redone
5. NEW SUPER!! Added Straight Flush
6. Added Alternate AIR (Animations) file, to replace Transparency on Card
effects.
NOTE: In the Definition file (MvC-EoH_Gambit_DCL.def), search for:

anim=MvC-EoH_Gambit_DCL.air
;anim=MvC-EoH_Gambit_DCL_Alt.air

Remove Semi-Colon from the second line and add a semi-colon on the first line,
save and Transparencies should be removed from the cards.
7. Remade some GetHit Animation CLSNS.
8. More Get Hit animations (X-Men vs. Street Fighter) to have them look
more smooth and tweaks to some Special moves.
9. NEW HYPER!! Level 3: The Ace of Spades

I gotta second you on that, R@CE! Keepin' goin', DarkCipherLucius! This Gambit is something crucial right chea! Oh, I alos want to ask, was your EOH Ryu suppose to have a Evil Ryu in him or was he just be regular Ryu all by himself. Either way, he's flawless as well as Gambit! :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

I haven't really tried out your update to Gambit, but I have played the old version, and I loved it. That being said, I know I'll like this one.

Don't know if this is a bug with your Gambit as well, but I know it happens with your other characters(Sakura and Ken). And while i know this topic isn't for them, I thought you might want to know so you can resolve this issue. If i'm playing against one of the mentioned characters and you get grabbed, I can escape the throw, but then it'll activate that characters AI, It has happened to me when I'm using MGMurrorws' characters and Hsiehtm's Morrigan (btw, hows your Morrigan coming along? ;D).

Its an odd bug I know, but it does happen. I'll give you some proper feedback when I get the chance to test this update tomorrow. Nice release!

Welcome back, DCL. Tried out the update and I still feel something bothering me. Gambit's "Royal Flush" lags M.U.G.E.N a little bit while his other supers "Straight Flush" and "Card Destruction" doesn't. Plus, they're all similar to each other but works differently. Nothing else I found right now, but I'll let you know if I do. Thanks for the updates. :)

Main reason why Royal Flush lags Mugen is because the amount of helpers used. Straight Flush and Card Destruction don't use the helpers nearly at all. Let me explain why:

1. To prevent lag, I set Card Destruction to only do damage from the staff. So Gambit isn't actually throwing cards to reflect off the staff. I just made the staff "look" like its reflecting them from the explosions (AKA Explod codes).

2. Straight Flush doesnt use cards, its merely Gambit with a long range to hit multiple enemies. Again I did this because it prevents lag.

I do wanna fix up Royal Flush completely to get the least amount of lag, but for now its gonna have to do until my next update I guess.

Good release, DCL. His new Level 3 hyper reminds me of Ken the Eagle's Level 3 in TvC.  ^-^
Besides the throw bug and lag regarding the Royal Flush, this is a good update.

I couldn't test Straight Flush or Piercing Flush since I didn't see them in the CMD and my keyboard won't register 3P commnds.

I'll explain everything...
- DP+2K has some start up time so I figured some extra damage might make it fair.
- QCF+2P depends sometimes it does, sometimes it doesnt.
- Straight Flush and Piercing Flush are actually the same move, I just forgot to rename it in the readme file  :-"
- HCB+2K, I'll fix this up for non-superjump stages as well.
- I'll let ya know now, I got no talent on making/editing sprites. I hope someone could fix that sprite for me.

I'll also fix up the Straight Flush to either a different command or hold 2 buttons.

Holding two would probably work.

As for DP+2K, 230 max would probably be good if you want a bonus for the startup.

hmmm good day... I'm having a sort of problem with DCL's Gambit... often when I go to arcade, just after the versus screen, mugen crashes... and sometimes it works fine... I don't know why. Anyone who could help with this?  ^:)^
