I got Jacked!!

This morning I noticed my moms car had been broken into and they also broke into my neighbors cars.

Yet when I looked at my car I noticed that my door had been forced open with a screw driver and my radio was gone.

Other items were taken but I was more pissed at the door cause its gonna cost a nut to replace the whole lock and door handle which is something I cant afford right now either.

I wish I could have caught these punks, I would have beaten them to the point that they are unrecognizable.

I called the cops to make a report and they came took my info and took some finger prints.

The cop told me they had 4 break ins in the same neighborhood last night.

I told him, wtf are cops for if you guys dont patrol the damn streets.

I then apologized to him and he gave me his number incase anything comes up.

This pisses me off to no end, I can tolerate the egging but brake into my stuff and its on..

well here's the bright side, you don't live in NY or FL where cops don't give a [sensor] to small trivial [sensor]. My dad's minivan got hit by a 4x4 his insurance company says he needs the police report the cop says it's not their problem they got other [sensor] to take care of other than something like this...

what seriously donuts and the police ticket quota? yes if ya'll don't know already if you see a ticket or get a ticket at around the end of the month... it means they didn't fill the ticket quota and their spying out for even the littlest of things to slap a fine on you.

but that is bad never the less about your car will your insurance cover it? and i know some people install camera's infront and inback of their house maybe one of your neighbors got them on tape and you can get your stuff back or something.

Like venom said maybe one of the neighbors had a security cam at their house for some clues. i got my apt broken into in 2000 and they took most of my electronics. i was definitely heated about that for sure so i know how ya feel. after that we got ADT security so we have been straight since then...

theres nothin worse than havin somethin expensive broken into or stolen of yours and then you have to come out of pocket to replace it

I have my entire life in my truck (Not a good idea isn't it?) i keep my wallet, ipod, flash drives, and other sorts of trivial *cough* stuff.

Personally, I'm a vengeful person. If I caught the guy, I would tie him up in the bed of the truck, go to the desert or something than have him dangling behind the truck tied to the rear bumper, where I would drive 5 miles per hour then go all the way up to whatever the damn limit is on the truck then toss his mutilated corpse into a pack of rabbit man-eating rabbits.

Back to reality, I'd beat him with a baseball bat and call the cops. Was still a cute little fantasy though xD.

Now a days it doesn't matter. Stuff in your car, or stuff in your house, if someone wants something they will break into either. This economy sucks & people are not really giving a sh*t if they rob from someone who worked hard for their stuff.

I'm sorry to hear what happened Scar, but at least it was only your car. You know what happened to me a few months back

btw folks, that i posted is me !! but i don't carry any guns , but i have immediate access to some. but i never really have the need its just on standby. my hands gets the job done just fine my swords is basically for multiple unfriendlys . and i keep them nice and sharp..... i actually saw a sight that you can get claws too!! i want to order them, but new york is one of the states that they are illegal to send to so i'm looking for a closer state where i got friends at to collect it !!

I'm sorry to hear that Scar.

I'm from the bronx and i remember me and my dad waited in his car at night
because we were tired of people always vandalizing his car for no reason.
It's a shame that we had to do that because police officers here really don't stop crimes they come after the damage has been done.

that is definitely true blood ninja. i remember being out in far rockaway and on many occasions my friends and i get stuck in the middle of shouts at the o.k. coral and cops only play clean up crew!! we had one situation they were hiding behind cars til it stopped!! smh......

Good thing you didn't go outside, or you could have been shot. People are crazy.

I live in Florida, and cops really don't give a damn. My apartment got shot at while I was having a little party, cops came, didn't do crap, than put everyone in the house under gang affiliation status.
The guys who shot us ran from Tampa though

I live in Michigan, the last house I lived in, some guys broke into it somehow, there were no signs of forced entry but things kept going missing, like my N64 and all its games. The cops are always useless in these situations. We did the same thing, reported the missing items and nothing happened, it didn't stop either, that is why we moved. Haven't worried about stolen goods since, well except that one time one of my neighbors stole a lawn chair.... of course we stole it back.

Now a days you have to take action on your own. Cops wont do anything and when they do its already to late..

Nothing against cops, I know they have certain rules they have to follow before they are allowed to proceed further.

All I ask for is patrol the streets more and make your presence be felt.

I swear bro, I wouldn't care if it was a minor or an old fart.. I would have beaten him senseless and then call the cops to do the clean up..

Eh.. It happens. I don't think I have much worth stealing, and with there's pretty much always 2 people awake at my place at any given time, so I don't think I have much to worry about.

And as for the comments about the cops.. I'm sure they have a lot of serious things they have to attend to, and they just don't have enough man-power to handle all of it. Sad truth is, there's a hell of a lot more bad guys then good guys, and police just can't handle the smaller stuff sometimes.

I agree, though, police should definitely patrol more often.. But they need more police to be able to do that, and they really don't have the kind of funding they need to be as effective as they should.. Our government appearently has better things to spend our money on.. *grumble grumble*
