Ha ha, I love the disappearing blocks.  :w00t:
The stage looks great, but feels a little empty. Maybe you can add some of the other elements from the Wily Wars version of Heatman's stage to break up all the bricks. A metal wall like this would look great in your stage as a mid-layer I think:



Now we just have to wait for Heatman.  :(

Stage looks awesome. Near everything is perfect. Only thing that looks off is the floor, think it's at a wrong angle.

We stopped checking for monsters under our bed when we realized they were inside of us.

Seeing as how I like lava stages I tried this, some feedback:

- The stage isn't centered correctly, the left and right bounds should be the same.  You might want to change that as it could possibly give disadvantages over either players.

- Stage would benefit from a floor tension of 60.

- The background elements could benefit from more depth, you can play around with the deltas to fix that.

- Imo, the stage could benefit from parallax, but that's your call.

- Your bound high is too high, when characters super jump they leave after images at the top of the stage.

For the parallax, not quite. 

- The characters slide on the floor, you want to adjust your delta until they don't slide when the characters move.

- The floor parallax could also use more depth, you can adjust the second width value to a higher one to achieve that.

I'd say Darkman, since he's completed spritewise, and the fact that I was thinking of making a Bombman stage sometime when I had the time to. :D But of course, that might not happen, so you could probably make Bomb's stage anyways. :P

I was thinking the same thing, to use the night part with the towers on the background. I was also thinking you could include a Power Muscler (that big red enemy which stomps on the layer) watching the fight.
