Efficent Solution to installing Mugen characters

I noticed today that I have a world wide load of Mugen characters and I also had to start over a few weeks back with a clean new Mugen stallation, which means I have to install all my characters. Is there an easier and effeicent way to install Mguen character without the hassle of doing them all one at a time?

I figure you already know the details of setting up the select.def so I'm not going to go into the minute details, in general, here is how I would do it:

1) In Windows click the Start button
2) Select "Run"
3) Type cmd (gives you a 'DOS' window)
4) Navigate to the folder you want like c:\Mugen\chars\ (you can type "cd.." to exit a folder and "cd folder name" to open a folder)
5) Type DIR > list.txt to create a text file with all the names of the folders in that diretory
6) Go open that txt file and copy the date into your select.def

Also If you're picky about sorting then you can drop the information into an excel spreadsheet nad move it around before finally dropping it into the select.def
