i wouldn't trust a custom cpu

after some googleing i learned boeing acquired a cpu company, but i still wouldn't trust it much
will windows even run on it? will you need a custom motherboard too, or are they trying to get sued by intel/amd
for $250 it better match i7 performance

yeah i def gonna see whats good under the hood on the custom Pc, so far from the others i seen that my brother showed me he does a very good job and those pc are still running years later.  He does this stuff on his own outside of his job. making custom Pc is just his lil side thing but he wants to open his own company one day my bro told me.  I can build shells too and have access to molds to be made from any design i come up with. but i am just getting a standard shell that he will deck out  and i just add on the custom logo i will either get designed or i will do myself.

i done bought more expensive pc's back in the day and not too long ago and they be bumpkiss . so with this one i get what i want and not what company gives me.  especially since it will be a 2 function pc. ! game designing , music and video producing and hold of programs to design things and 2. gaming period.  i dont do much else on a pc other than normal web browsing but mostly its just Mugen /bor stuff.

so it's just a custom built computer $250 for the whole thing?
what i would be worried about would be the "custom processor"(if i'm understanding correctly)  not made by intel/amd/ibm

its just a custom built Pc for $ 250

The inside hardware for the tower will be parts he will get that you put together ( motherboard and all) that you can buy wholesale from company  ( intel/ibm etc) . he can get those easily but he will just make custom modifications to improve the Ram and output power.. not hard if you got the know how and specialize in doing those instead of having to buy extra expenisive add on parts to your rig.  Gaming specific gaming rigs require great power output and ram to play games ( and good cooling fan) at very smooth frame rates and less load times. (plus add in all kinds of fancy shells and stuff ). he is very good at what he does...trust me.  but i get a lil contract drawn up so to feel safer for you guys. .. i am paying extremely far less than what i would have to have bought for what i wanted...not just any ole gaming rig.. my own kind i wanted.


Dang i remeber  back in the day , people didnt buy PC gaming rigs, there werent many on the market cause there wasnt.( if was they were, they was too far expensive) You would have to build one if you could or knew someone that can without fail. Lando didnt know any MIT people back then.   You just had to buy a powerful Pc that can run it all hardbody without fail. these years since then companies do sell just PC gaming rigs with high power output designed just to play and run large games at smooth frame rates and far less load times.

that makes custom cpu's and does programming and all that hardware and software stuff for helicopters to make me a whole cpu for only 250 and it be all custom

see you were confusing me there, just putting it together is incredibly easy
also $250 is a bit too cheap for gaming (console style, prob fine for mugen)

you only need as much power as the components require
ram has zero effect on games (unless you run out, few games need more than 4GB)
the stock fan is fine unless you overclock (which this person may do for you)
load time is based almost entirely on your hard drive

yeah its just me buying the shell and him adding in all the componants i want just for 250. which is not bad since i want a terabyte for the PC.

Like said i will be using it for all the Mugen  and Bor projects/games as well as art stuff and music/video work i will be doing.

he did one not long ago that had all these lights and crap glowing and clear and all kinds of stuff. I dont want all that. , he charged way more to install all that. I am gonna Keep it simple but a lil flashy with a cool Crom Logo designed one on the shell. My uncle has a good laser printer that can make those stickers on whole page sheets. so i want to design a cool Crom joint to get done for that.

1tB hdd is only $70-80
for video editing you want as much ram as you can afford (i don't see you doing lots professional work so you dont actually need that much, i'd aim for atleast 4GB)

also if you want i recommend getting a parts list and posting it, i could take a look at it

normally i'd say you could build it yourself for cheap, but at $250, unless he's putting an actual potato inside the case i wont object

Heyyy i take offence to that! . I am gonna learn to do some of my own video stuff when i can and i got lots a anime video i want to DL ( and import in) and store for both research as well as guilty pleasure to watch with popcorn.   
 

Cool bro! thanx for those links. i will check them out and see whats good.  Oh and nahh man , i aint the PC building type of person , I can make Console shells but not all that internal hardware crap. i got a cuzin who specializes in that area.  So if i was to build one, it might turn out with WINBOWS 27 instead of Windows latest upgrade. or it might wind up with a potatoe as a hardrive knowing me.

here lets go through the steps:
1. go to teksyndicate and ask someone to put together a parts list for you, smart people
2. order parts
3. screw motherboard to case
4. plug everything in
5. install os

what's your focus (basically: gaming or editing, or both)

1. ssd's give you better load times, how much are you willing to spend on better load times
2. leds make it faster, as do stickers
3. ask for opinions before you buy
4. stock heatsink/ fan are fine if you dont overclock, not so much if you do overclock

(for gaming only)
1. you dont need more than 4GB of ram
2. your gpu is more important than your cpu

well a normal use computer doesn't require much, but if you want to do more intense things it will need to be different depending on what that intense thing is
the most common things that demand a good computer are gaming and video editing
