Well honestly if I had the patience I would take the time to learn.

tell me about bro! practice , practice and more practice.  .

once you got the hang of it , it gets easier depending on how diligent you are to dedicate the time to make stuff look the way you want. i say try it. you never know until you go for it. 

the community always needs new spriters and coders.  they go hand in hand bro.

It does take patience, but Lando's right, it gets easier once you get the hang of it. And there are plenty of people that will help you along the way.

Ill think about it, wheres the best play to learn?

I learned on my own by messing around in Paint. Moved on to GIMP later. There are plenty of tutorials around to help you learn.

well to learn i would say look at a few good tutorials like Spidermews Frankenspriting with spidermew. i think its still up on youtube.  i learned from Nestor, Manic and Li Kun. showed me the ropes with advice and tuts. But def you have to play around with bases which is a great way to start. i say DL some sprite packs here on the site of a character you would like to edit.  take which style sprite you like say MVC which has more space in pixels to play around with.  edit out parts of clothes and follow shading style as well. and then add in your own details while still trying to stay within the styles parameters. but just to mess with , edit it your way and then shade in. just to get the feel i guess.  then you can start to learn some of the styles more define way with light sourcing and shading and details.  but def start with a MVC base. That what i did.  but then navigated to cvs bases and rotd style cause i like those styles sprites sizes and looks.

So exactly what is CROM and how does one join?

WELLLLLLLL C.R.O.M. stands for Creative Rebels of Obenbor and Mugen. Its a group ( rather large now) of people from around both comunities that enjoy having fun in creating content for both engines, spriting , coding , whatever and being cool people towards each other and the community. we all pretty good friends man. my best friends are Crom fam and well as people period in the communities. we more like Family . It all started here at IMT our birth home.  we enjoy good laughs, joking around and as well sprite and create stuff and help out . I talk to some bros on skype and others on the phone but here and crusader cast chat. we are pretty much from every site and just became a cool collective of friends. ehh we mess with each other, debate but its always cool....and yes hilarious too.

joining Crom is pretty simple but yet requires some crucial stuff.

1. you must be a cool bro within the community to others but dont take crap from the haters. got haterade for those fools.   No trolling folks threads please. Let your haters be your Motivators as well.  Really tho Just pay them no mind but if they buggin too much at ya, swat them suckas!

2. you must have valid drivers license and provide overlordnick and enso...pretty much all of Crom with plenty of drinks. just dont give Glux, Skorpiophobia , Jodafro and shadaloo Lives  too much... they known to run off with the Crom Vixen midgets. After hours. 

and last but not least...
3. you must tell us the most embarrassing thing that ever hapened to you in your life....with a straight face..like this..


well i am leader of crom and Shadaloo is the VP so i am sure he might have some more insane rules than mine. Mines are more tame.

oh yeah once you done all this... you have to Dance battle enso and win. after all this.. your in. Trust me.. i havent battled enso yet but its coming enso, its comin bro! i shall do.. The Harlem Gangnam Style Shake!
