Hey Lando, what was the name of that anime-ish tag-team fighter that you told me about awhile back?

oh wow bro. mann i dont know cause i think i told you a couple but for a solid tag team feature ....not sure. i know Vanguard princess is cool but tag style would be Umineko Ougon Musou Kyoku X on 360 japan account. the online version for free is without the "X" at the end. you get less characters tho from the copy i have and the console version has more. other than that i am not sure what other one i may have said cause i think thats the only tag style one i know. Shadow Breaker is another but no tag i believe.  i had the demo.

Unfortunately no, it must be from an anime. If there is a Castlevania anime, it would work as long as it's based on the version of the character from the anime. Unless Asura from Asura's Wrath makes it in again, in which case .

hey guys i started my sprite for the contest in the video above, and i was hoping you guys might give me some recomendations
its Goku: Champion of Christmas

bad thing is i have>10 hours to submit a final copy so i wont be making too many edits

edit: ok, obviously i have to make it smaller to boost the resolution

Ok, ummm... Here's what I see that needs fixed:
1. The skin and eyes are a bit blurry, 2. Recolor the dark orange bits, 3. the white parts needs more deatils/shading, 5. Get rid of the outline of the boots, 6. There is red on the hand on the left.

Fix those things and it should be good.

This is not a sprite. This is you drawing a new costume over a jpg of goku you probably scanned off an old issue of shonen jump, that you did in ms paint.
If your going to draw over something, you need to have seperate layers, that way you can draw in an empy blank layer then delete the blurry jpeg in the back ground. Yes, this means you'll also have to redraw the face and stuff as well, and you cant just bucket fill some areas cuz you got to re-do the shading. I would suggest you pick about 4 or 5 shades for the one color that gets the most shading like the main jump suit. About 3 or 4 colors for the boots, cuz their always darker and you dont ahve to worry so much about contrast, if they are dark, peole will pay more attention to the main area of the costume. Then just 3 colors for the skin and 3 for the hair. The skin is always symple with dragon ball's art style and the hair too, you may only really need 2 for the hair.
I can tell its from shonen jump because the whites of the eyes are matching the skin color in the image. So its something that was colored orginaly form a black and white image (weather or not your source had color or not.)
Dont forget to do the whites. Eyes can be black, thats cool, unless he goes ss then their like a lime green.
Then make sure you delete the background layer cuz that fuzz makes the image go down in quality. Plus now that youve limited your color pallet on your new layer, you can then format the image to work in mugen and someone could use it in their own version of goku.
You could then do like a "Goku Christmass" patch for your favorate version of the character. Just edit the palette, maybe touch up the symbols on the character if you want to go into that much detale, maybe turn all the projectiles into toasters, errr i mean christmas presents and bam, you got a neet patch with a uniqe portrate and differnt effects, and once a year, someone will probably use it in a video. Ide even host it for ya if you did that work.


So there you go, come constructive feed back for ya....

i know violence being ok but boobs not seems like bizarro world. But thats how we americans have been raised by the media. Blame the fcc or New World Order or something.

it is a sprite, a sprite is a digital picture
i did it in a photoshop clone not paint
i did use multiple layers
i riped it from a screen grab from the anime (they switch between skin color eyes and white eyes sometimes)
i used a recolor tool tool not paintbucket
its for a contest i wont win not mugen (i didnt see a rule against palate edits)

i'm about to look for a better quality face w/ possibly a happyer expression

i apologise if i posted a bad vid, sometimes i forget to double check
