This is just an idea... what if you reused ProtoMan's old beamsword hyper for one of Quint's hypers?  Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not joining the whole "HURR DURRR make him R. Shadow!!!1" bandwagon, it just seems like something Quint would do.  Especially since he's from the future, where such weapons seem to be popular.  Plus, Quint's use of Sakugarne means he probably would specialize in melee weapons.  Just an idea, and if it's too similar to R. Shadow to use, I understand.

But yeah, if it DOES work out, Protoman's sprites should probably be pretty easy to replace with Quint's, as they are pretty similar-looking.

there is a special planned similar to this. its a three hit  combo. quint charges and shoots a charged buster shot with his left arm. then spins shooting a maxed charged shot from behind his back with his right arm. the last he steps in and fire a massive beam (imagine dragon ball style) with both arms. Its supposed to be an up grade of Photoman ultimate buster shot that drains proto's  life force.

but i do like this idea tho......... using different weapon huh? how do you like this. Quint would use weapons form the X series, etc? So that meaning Z saber, X buster, Axl pistols, Sigma blade, Vile cannon, Tron,Trigger and other main characters.

Thats sounds  ok  but the other contributors to this character may have other things they wanted to add to quint which may clash with this so its just random talk for now.

I see where your going with that i would  use his drill instead of a blade to do this but i wont sprite na'n like that. I dont like reusing others sprites besides capcoms . If you or anyone want to sprite it have at it but remove the blade.

Those are some of my favorites too  :). You'll see other different sprites and what not with Quint that you haven't seen in mega b4 even tho hes just a repaint.  ;*))
