Thought this might be a good intro for an evil machine from the future, traveling back in time to terminate Megaman (please tell me you get the reference).



Needs some full screen flash when the portal turns white, but you get the idea.

Now that's pretty cool. Nice reference lol
Things are getting pretty interesting for this project. I might have to join in on this fun.

I was also thinking that while on the sakugarne, if you keep tapping punching, then Quint will keep digging releasing a vibrant blast to nearby foes sort of like Blanka electricity.

Please provide GOOD SOURCES!! Dont want no R Shadow stuff. I personally didnt read any sword stuff but i am intrigued.

>:-(-| hey, since Chaotic's here, may I ask if MegaMan, ProtoMan, and Bass will be recoded on to the RMM template anytime soon?  They are such great characters as is, and the template is just REALLY awesome (see DCL's Roll  :thumbsup:)

But yeah, on-topic, I really love Quint's progress.  He's doing a lot better than Duo (whatever happened to LynxDarkwood?)

I'm here but I'm kinda not. Lifes a lol too crazy for me right now to start back progging and spriting. But I do occasionally pop back in here and there to check on the progress of things.  Reprogramming mega bass and proto are all up to laspacho and the team once I get back into the swing of things u can probably expect a separate release/update of my characters. Of course that's kinda hard to say when it will happen but I still might have some more life left in my mugen tanks to pump at least an update to my chars before I officially call it quits.

I hear ya. I barely even have time to play mugen these days, let alone sprite. I hope you eventually find time to release some updates though. Your Protoman is my favorite Megaman character and I'm still dying to see that Top Spin update on Megaman. :thumbsup:

Maybe we can get Quint to pull a gun out of his leg, lol. The only actual attack Quint ever had was bouncing around on his Sakugarne. The guy with the buster saber was R.Shadow, from the Wonderswan only Rockman & Forte: Challenger from the Future. That game was made by Bandai and Licensed by Capcom, so it kinda sucked. Anyway, R.Shadow looks ridiculously similar to Quint and many people often mistake them for each other, but they are completely different robots.

Or, just make another WIP for Rockman Shadow.  We don't really need to go through this again.  Think of it as Rock and Blues, both similar design, but different personality and fighting style.

Instead of switching them why not just give Quint an alt-mode where he is R.Shadow. Kind of like Warmachine becomes Mega-Warmachine, and Zangief becomes Mecha-Zangief.

I don't think that would make very much sense. They are two totally different bots.

Quint, in all of his appearances has never been shown to even have a buster. Once again, that would be Rockman Shadow.

Quint was been shown with only using his jackhammer. What is known about Quint is that he's megaman from the future and was REPROGRAMED NOT REBUILD. So that would mean he retains his memories (which is stated) and the use of his blaster and copy ability.

That's not entirely true, according to his actual japanese profile:

クイント(Quint)
    Dr.ワイリーがロックマンを倒す刺客として送り込んだロボット。その正体は、ワイリーがタイムマシンを利用して未来へ行き、未来の自分と結託して捕まえた、戦闘機能を持たない未来のロックマンを改造したものである。本来は穏やかで戦いを好まない平凡なタイプであるが、洗脳されているために攻撃を仕掛けてくる。武器は削岩ロボットを改造した「サクガーン」。他のボスと異なり、体力ゲージが表示されない。また、作中では生死不明。
    ロックマンキラーに相当する存在だが、ロックマンキラーとしてはナンバリングされていない。キラーナンバーズに入っていないのと、未来のロックマンという設定による『タイムパラドックス』になる為か不明だが、ロックマン10では再登場しない(ただし、ロックマンワールド5の場合は設定上例外)。
