The person that made that site is going to court, We have been debating about this in my Government class in school. I got the link to the site from this document that the teacher gave us.

I hope the creator of that site gets life in prison.

Life? I mean, a good number of years, yes, but not life. You could get life for brutally murdering someone, or a small group of people, but you shouldn't get life for actively participating in cockfights.

They should make the penalties so outrageous, that he'd think twice (maybe 3 times) before ever hosting rooster fights ever again.

How about $10,000 per rooster that was involved in the fight? And if he can't pay for them all, then he serves the rest of the fines in terms of prison (1 year for every $5,000 not paid).

This goes for Michael Vick too. (that son of a bee-otch dog killer)

Hey, if you don't want to pay the rediculous fines, then just don't abuse/kill animals. It's that simple.

I think your right (as is VKM). He should get outrageous fines and jail time. Wanna know my opinion? Abusing/killing animals should carry penalties x5 higher than if you were to do that to a human being. I carry a gun everywhere I go (legaly). You think I'm tryin to protect myself against animals? Maybe if this were true the world wouldn't have such a poplulation/@**hole problem. Controversial? Damn right it is.

life in prison is alittle harsh maybe a 2g fine and 2 years in prison and never being able to own another animal of any kinda but not life cause serious people kill other people and dont get life.....but what is funny to me is why this is so bad in the media's eyes but bull fighting, trohpy hunting and fishing, and my favorite dog/horse racing.....why are they my favorite because that is the most similar to dog fight in which the animals live their lives..train all your life to be good at something but as soon as you lose or get hurt your dead and yes not all of the dogs/horses see that fate but the same can be said for dog fighting

How would you like someone to keep you in a cage and when they take you out, they beat you and torture you to provoke violent tendencies, then take you once or twice a month to a pit and throw you in it with other people that have had the same thing done to them, and have you fight, potentialy to the death?

This is rather old and it keeps happening quite commonly here in Mexico, Damn I hate my State, it has the stupid "Toreos" Where they kill Bulls by "Toreros" that I believe are the real definition of Living Scum and there's the Rooster Fights and some more stupid crap.

The problem with these kind of stuff is that they are considered to be "traditions". Being Latin American, I can understand c**k-fights and bull-fights are part of the old Spanish heritage, and it goes even before in time, but I also believe they are barbaric and should not be held. Anyways, these customs subsist (most notoriously) only in Central-America, Mexico and Spain. Argentina banned these kind of things back in early 1900.

Ppl fight pits(pitbulls) here all the time. Although they dont kill them, there are ppl with pits that have one eye or 3 legs, pretty f*cked up but i see it all the time so im not that surprised at this chicken fighting. Those Roosters wouldn't even be worth eating when they're dead. The poultry have to be in a certain condition when they are being made for eating. Aside from that I don't eat rooster. Pitbull fights are also illegal, and so is eating dogs. These Roosters that die in combat are useless when they are dead so it's really no good.

exactly wut i said bout micheal vick case ppl made it seem like he murderd people

bull riding i heard they toture bulls to make them react to the rider or sumthin
media blows things out of size.. my mom was watching it n she thought it was funny cuz in nigeria in nigeria the ppl trippin at vick would be considered crazy

but animal fighting is wrong n just wierd but somtimes u cant stop watching it..
its like a old people doing each other its so wrong but u can turn u eyes away because
u couldnt tell wether the chick had 4 boobs or it was flaps of skin
