Wow, actually staying true to the sorce material, holly wood should be taking notes.

Imagien how cool this could be with professional Filmography and effects... I'm sending a letter to Capcom (because it seems they do listen to us)

Yeah, it's not perfect, but this is WAAAAAAAYYYY better than all the other SF movies put out. Sure the actors' looks are "questionable", but they at least tried to be close to the source material in terms of character appearance. Definitely a good effort and worth the watch, but yeah Akuma....not quite there yet  [-X

yeh i used to do that a lot with gaming comapanies long before. They sometimes respond too for real. Konami always responded to my letters back then. So u should do it. Im sure they seen this short film. Its hella good material and perspective dead on

yeh my thoughts exactly. Its definitely a classic now of the underground with rest of the shorts. Hopefully these gaming companies would take better pride in their products and listen to the fans who are also movie goers as well. Cuz persponally aside from SF,, KOF is another iconic Franchise and if i was the owner of that franchise i wouldnt let just anybody make the movie for a quick buck & piss my loyal fans off. Its a first time seeing their favorite chars live action on screen. Id listen to the fans and remember what made the series great.

Just because it was a video game doesnt mean the movie can be trash too with no effort. Hell TRON was a game and both movies (old & new) look and and were great on Film. So whats the d@mn problem making a Martial arts flick based on Videogame chars?..smh

This one short Film tells Us all here that a Great Video Game movie "Can" be done. Its just whos on board to do it and how serious they are taking it :-??

one last thing...heh even Dynasty warriors (or maybe soul calibur to a degree) can be done if they wanted...check this out

 >:-(-| ...a friend of mine found another fan-made SF vid. Well, action's pretty good, but presentation could be better. Clothing looks like from the local MA shop, effects look like Photoshop, etc. $0 went into this, so don't expect Hollywood quality FX. I know alot of people will laugh straight from the beginning (I sure did  ;*)) ), but I urge you all to watch it until the very end.

I still think SF Legacy beats this and could be made into a real movie with enought support.

@Demonkai: A Soul Calibur movie? That series has a really good storyline, so I can see that coming into production.

@ Sabaki: Yeh, thing is in an old Xbox mag i saw it was being worked on but more so in CG er somethin.
But if it was done by some guys like this Warlords movie with a deep story like SC already has it would definitely be great live action.
heh i think it would but epic in a series if taken seriously. The whole bit about Ivory being Cervantes daughter is some real "Luke & darth vader" sh**

Anyway theres too many Martial artists out there now that can throw on a mask and costume n get busy

I watched Battle at Red Cliffs last year (English subtitles), and I recommend it for everyone. Story's great, action was real good, and the strategies used in the battles were off the hook! Especially if you've read the books, you'll really get into how they did the movie.

Yes one of the most beautiful movies ever made.  I love both Records of the Three Kingdoms and Romance of the Three Kingdoms, which why I like how Koei continues to retell the story after finding new documents and diaries during the time of Cao Wei, Shu Han, and Eastern Wu.
