I almost screamed like a lil girl when I saw the actor playin the Role of X-23 in that vid...but I didn't so IM GOOD

I don't get why RogueYoshi just finds glitches yet doesnt say anything about em...why he do that?

Finally, I got my 100 wins in ranked match just to get the trophy so Im pretty much done with Online Ranked match. Trish actually came in handy but in the end X-23 gets the 100th victory...just as I wanted it =D
My win loss record was 100W, 35L...I guess Im satisfied...

This wasn't just discovered. It was actually discovered long ago by RY's friend (who played Spiderman/Hulk). He noticed one of his combos did a ton more, and showed RY, who then brought it to me to help research (hence, why he made the video). He also didn't try to keep it under wraps. He brought it up on IRC and we tried all sorts of variants. We tested this (in Vanilla) with a variety of other capture states as well (Trish Trap, Hyper Grav, etc). What we noticed is that it was very finicky (though that may have changed with Vanilla - we never went back to test after DHC glitch was fixed).

Interestingly enough, with the Deadpool video, it looks as if very specific variants of the capture trick still work (we always assumed you needed a capture type Super in order to trigger it with a DHC). You can easily test the Spiderman/Hulk combo and see if that variant works as well. During our own testing, we found that some captures wouldn't even trigger the DHC trick (like Spiderman's) but obviously it did work in some cases as seen in the Hulk/Spiderman combo. This was also the case with bounce resets - something that Magus first noticed very early on in Vanilla (and still exists in Ultimate).

Hopefully we can nail down the specifics to a science. There may be some captures that are very lenient and some that are much more strict. Definitely could increase the usefulness of some characters (such as Deadpool). I look forward to seeing what the test results bring back. Marvel is too crazy!

Good games, man! I tried out a secondary team (Storm, Zero, Sent) but It wasn't working too well. My main team was the Nova one. X-23 is trickier than Zero.

Just ran a set with a new challenger, though I think I fought him before in Vanilla when I was still green at the game, and DAMN is his Zero a major threat. I thought my Zero was good but good gawd his will destroy mine.

Good games MaverickZr0, I tried ComboFiend's team because I recently was training with them and I see why ComboFiend really enjoys using that team of his. Then I started making so many mistakes I switched to an alternate team of mine.

I'm sure you already know but eliminating Zero is my main objective. Did you try the thunder loop? I think I saw ya trying it but I should know it's one tough cookie to do that.

About X-23, I'm not sure I can agree with ya on that, she has the tools but Zero destroys her since he's an all around character that can control the field. X-23 is very limited so she has to stay in control and make her opponent fall prey into the corner. It's all about resets and mixups with X-23. Zero can pretty much do anything, he is the Maverick Hunter after all. X-23 is kind of like Gouki: Stay in control, keep attacking, repeat. I could say the same for Zero but he can play a zoning game.

Your Nova impressed me, I only know one other Nova user but I saw ya do combos he hasn't even done at all.

4. Set P1 Hyper Combo Recovery Off
5. Set P1 X-Factor to be Level 1 at all times
6. Set P2 Life Recovery On
7. Set P2 Hyper Combo Gauge Start at Maximum
8. Set P2 X-Fatcor to be Level 3 at all times
9. Set P2 X-Factor to be activated an infinite amount of times
