Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3

I'm not arguing with this dude at all. I really could care less if he likes the game or not. I'm not even defending really if the game is good or not. I'm just explaining why Viewtiful Joe and Arthur are the way they are. They're made exactly how they're supposed to be. Your roster still isn't good regardless of all the random characters you put in there. The reason cvs was made the way it was because of the sprite style it was made in. The game was based on realistic proportions. MVC3 pretty much took the characters from however they were(size, shape, and all) in their comic and games and based it around that. Its not that hard of a concept to grasp at all....

My roster ain't that good huh homie...? I have everyone in there that THE FANS ASKED FOR!! PLUS more epicness to the fullest! Say what you want, but a roster like mine would seriously KILL the current mess that Crapcom has made of this game... Therefore, THE REVENUE, and units sold, would have been BETTER!! And can you honestly tell me that Phoenix Wright can face the hulk and live more than 2 seconds!?? You're delusional...!

A good roster is well thought out, not just some thrown together mess dude. That was the assumed problem with MVC3(they didn't plan out there characters well). You sir, are sorely mistaken...I bought this game because I wanted to see something new, We had 6 buttons since MSH to MvC1, 4 Buttons was introduced in MvC2 I think. TvC brought a whole new gameplay which was odd, then it transferred it to MvC3. I didn't like it, but I dealt with it.

Also, Amaterasu CAN fight, I believe you didn't even play Okami. She may be short, but DEAL WITH IT. Complaining doesn't do anything besides make you look stupid. Look who else is short. Arthur, Joe, and Raccoon. I fought these 3 before against Swiziga and I was using Nemesis. Nemesis is an 8 foot giant who's most attack's just go above them, plus he is incredibly slow and I was getting chipped by Arthur's Daggers. So what did I do about it? I DEALT WITH IT

Look back at MvC2, there's Roll, Servbot and maybe Megaman too, who were kinda short. Servbot being the shortest. I fought a friend online with Servbot and he kept dropping his combos because Servbot was too small. What did he do? HE DEALT WITH IT

There's one thing I will agree on...MODOK is trash, waste of space, useless character. Venom would have been a better decision. I'm surprised you haven't even mentioned Phoenix at all. Even with her nerfs, lemme tell ya...GOD DAMN!! she is still a b**** to beat...and to prove it, ask DeadPhoenix9065, TELL EM DP!!!
Also, Phoenix Wright? Why?! I liked his games, but there's no goddamn real reason besides milking dem cows on why he is in this game. Fans asked, and they got Phoenix Wright, thus made Capcom get more money. Besides, someone here at IMT COMPLAINED that Phoenix Wright was too complex to use, and he's a major fan of him.
Frank West, okay, he's killed Zombies, psychopaths, and survived a horror in a mall. But in the end its just what Zero tells him "You may have covered wars, but you are still a civilian"
In all honesty, he doesn't belong in this game either. Again, I believe he was added just to milk dem cows. Explain how a flash from a camera hurts you...it just blinds you for a quick second. If you want a photographer...you already got Spidey, and HE can fight. Frank and Wright make the other characters look like they can't take a beating.

All I've been seeing from you is complaining about short characters, a crappy roster, etc.
I admit that the roster sucked, but I dealt with that too. So I chose the characters I wanted to use.

Marvel:
X-23 (All Time Fave, fun rushdown, sick mixups)
TaskMaster (Picked him up from ComboFiend, still in the lab)

Capcom:
Ryu (Since SF2)
Spencer (Picked him up because of ComboFiend)
Dante (A good friend of mine wanted me to use him)
Zero (WIP) (My main in TvC, he was changed in Vanilla so my combos don't work no more, back to the lab)
Vergil (WIP) (A good friend of mine wanted me to use him, still in the lab)
Amaterasu (WIP) (Lost my touch with Amaterasu after Vanilla, back to the lab)
Wesker (since everyone uses him, most overused broken character in the game, no questions asked, a Wesker user will say he's not OP but they truly know he's broken. The glasses power up? Seriously.....)
Nemesis T-Type (The memories I have with this guy, runnin away from him in RE3...good times...)
Akuma/Gouki (Because he's Gouki...nuff said)

See I use mostly Capcom characters because most of the Marvel cast I could not get familiar with.
The roster still kinda sucks, but these are the only characters Im probably gonna stick with.

If you wanted all the characters to be almost the exact same size and height, the game would look ridiculous. Look at Super Gem Fighter, the characters are small chibi and the same size, they look ridiculous, but it was fun as hell.

So...get used to the damn game already...don't like it? Play another game, you're wasting your time just complaining about it. Just like I wasted mine writing this whole damn essay that on one is gonna bother to even read. Now then...

I would trade Cyclops for Joe atleast Joe isn't a Shoto like Cyclops is rather have a Unique fighting style than have another Character who plays like Ryu with a small difference and Marvel didn't want Gambit in so Capcom can't put him in if Marvel doesn't let them.

I actually like that skeletor Roster, it really does have ALOT of the characters i remember earlier in the thread and all over people was asking for. When i bought the game i swore i was gonna get some great characters as dlc. Best was Shuma. I would wish to have Shatterstar in the game, Blade, Bishop, Black Panther ( yeah like where are the bros at?), June , Bilstein ( Star Gladiator baddie) and hayato...he was the man in mvc2 so i would figure they bring him back plus some friends from the series. Mr Sinsiter would indeed be an epic dude to be in, he just like Modk but better implemented cause he is a fighter but not an up close combat one , he is a long range power specialist like Magneto and Like Dr. Doom.  they fight with their powers and not mmuch up close combat. So Sinister would been right in that league of Long Range power users.  I still say the best characters for a ULTIMATE version of mvc3 is in the cards. thats who most people asked for are at. well i guess i will wait for CFAS since it has quite a few of the characters i would want from capcom side like Batsu who i think should been in mvc3 as well.

And your friend using Servebot was probably a fan boy just like you who just bends over and takes it up the butt from Cracom without question as well...

I absolutely love MvC3 and Ultimate, here is why:

I have my main team of 3 and every time I play the game I learn something new, there is something I can do better and it's fun. I would love to have a variety of other teams but the replay value of the game with just one team playing online against other people is so huge that I haven't really been able to commit to new teams much. With a roster of 50 characters mixed up into teams of 3 there are such a wide variety of strategies that you need to get used to fighting against, that you need to find out what does and doesn't work and continually work on your game to get all of your muscle memory and instinct to match all the new things you learn. Sure, the controls are now friendly enough so a new polayer can pick up and play but even that if a far cry from what you're really doing as you get to fighting all the levels of Lords.

I absolutely love MvC3 and Ultimate, here is why:

I really don't understand how you could just go from 6 to 3. You loose all kinds of creative control, and have to constantly do the same damn combo all over again every time you press that wack a$$ launch button, to hit someone in the air! That ain't cool by NO means!
