Wow guys, Complaining about Racoons/phoenix's inclusion, defending it the next. You guys need to make up your mind.

I like playing as shuma, does that mean I can actually justify his inclusion in the game? Not really, the only reason he's in is because Capcom loves him for some reason.

I, Personally, would've rather Omega red over him but I'll Deal with it. I'm just saying that Hsien-Ko shouldn't have been in this game. I think, if they really wanted to make a new darkstalkers, they'd stop putting in only female characters ( I mean really capcom? the only girl from darkstalkers not to appear in a vs game is Lilith.) to represent said series, I mean, Dimitri, Donovan, Jon Talbain and Jedah All would've been cooler choices to represent Darkstalkers (along with Morrigan and I guess Felicia).

I'm waiting to hear about changes, if any, to Chun Li, Hulk, Spiderman, Capt America, Arthur and Dante.

Captain America
Double Jump: Captain America seems to have a double jump now.
Shield Slash: The speed of this special has been increased dramatically.
Overall Mobility: Captain America, overall, appears to be a much faster character now.
+ Shield Slash specials are faster and possibly pull the character in more on hit
+ L Shield Slash in the air now hits OTG and it is possible to combo a hyper after it or relaunch.
 + M/H versions of Charging Star now cause Soft Knockdown

Chun Li
+ Appears to do overall more damage in combos
+ Chun-Li appears to be no longer vulnerable after doing her up kicks in the air (?)
+ Chun-Li has a new attack which is Spinning Bird Kick in one spot

Dante
Combos: Dante’s basic combos do not seem to be executed in the same way or have simply been changed completely. No detailed info on this yet.+/- There have been changes to jab move (either addition or substraction of frame start up). Need more information on this.
- Hit stun scaling has been changed a bit for Dante particular on combos involving his Sky Dance. There may be other changes to his other special moves. Some of his more advance combos have stricter timing to them and less time to perform OTG follow ups.
+/- J.S start up/frames changed up (either addition or substraction)
+ During Devil Trigger, Dante gains Triple Jump and Double Air Dash.
- Possible changes on Hammer (?) but unconfirmed
+ Input on moves for Dante involving Rekkha like motions (like Dante's Hammer which was QCF+L~QCF+L) are just simply changed to a double tap (so new Hammer input would be QCF+L ~ L). So far this has been noticed for Acid Rain, Hammer and Beehive. It is suspected that this is an across the board chance for Dante and this makes some of his specials have faster start up times like Hammer."

Arthur
+ Increased overall health
+ J.S drops him downward more quickly for easier OTG after air combo
*His j.S diving down isn't just good for relaunches, it helps him combo in general, since against some characters, he does have to rush
+ Arthur can throw 3 lances out (?)

Hulk
+ St.H has 3 points of super armor now
+ Has a new charge move now (don't know what it is but it's confirmed he has a new move)
- OTG Gamma Wave into Gamma Crush is tighter noq

Spiderman
+ Spider-Man's webs travel faster.
+ The Web Ball, Web Swing and Spider-Sting can be cancelled.

I was good that he asked him those questions, even though we all new we would get the run around answers, but he should have asked him about additional DLC characters, modes, alternate costumes and stages, like: are the going to be any?

Also, we already knew that spectator mode was not going to be the only mode in Ultimate. Remember Shadow Mode?   I'm sure that is not going away...  

@ Hypersonic and Whiplash - I don't mind the characters that are in, as much as the characters that are not. We should not have to be forced to think that a character should have been better then a different, since we should have gotten both to begin with...  

The roster is still too small compared to MvC2. In my opinion we are still missing a good deal of "should have been included" like Mega Man, Captain Commando, Jin Saotome, Gambit, and...sigh...BB Hood...

So who is the other owner/ creator of mega man? I know everyone was sadden when the person they credited for megaman creation left. But Keiji Inafune isn't the only person who designed to Blue bomber as stated by him. Does Keiji Inafune hold sole right of mega man? Does the other guy had any of the rights. Or is mega man a property of crapcom solely?

Uh... He said it's unfair because when you upgraded from SF4 to SS4, you got 10 new chacters plus like 3 new modes.

This, as far as he knew, was 12 characters and 1 new mode that was supposed to be in the game to begin with.

I agree with Joe though. It's complete BS that MvC3 users and Ultimate MvC3 users won't be able to compete against each other, and even more BS is that it's the internet's fault. I work on the Internet industry with Cisco, VMware, EMC, NetApp, Oracle and many others, as well as collocation and telecommunication carriers and the Internet has nothing to do with that. In fact, a patch can fix that. It is just a matter of lazy programing or the fact they want to force everyone to upgrade...

I wonder if the rankings will go out the window and we'll have to start all over again...

They weren't blaming the internet. Seth was saying that Capcom's programming team doesn't know how to incorporate cross-game competition. The tweaks to UMvC3 make it even more difficult.

@Whiplash: Joe never even mentioned the comparison of on disc content between SSFIV and UMvC3. What he complained about was that SSFIV had DLC, and MvC3 did not. That was his complaint. Not the on-disc content, but the DLC. Whether your complaint is the on-disc content or not does not change what Joe stated.

if im not mistaken his complaint was that ssf4 had substantial content added that made it a good re-relase vs umvc3 spectator mode/unwanted characters
