I really think it is Xavier. Capcom saw that he was in a wheel chair and they right away thought: "Are you serious? How the heck are we going to pull this?", since they probably didn't understand his psychic abilities.

thats was the joke we were all giggin on before in another topic when we first got the scoop that Marvel was bought by disney. we pretty much were sayin "Oh lawd...now we gonna see disney chars in Capcom vs games " since we knew at the time MVC3 emerged . it was a past joke im still being sarcastic about.

Hmmm MODOK...a trash character? well depends on who hands he probably in.  but i am sure no one WANTS trash characters in the game...any gamne for that matter.Modok to me seems more like a " ohhh let just throw in....uummmm...errrr. modok? I think they just ran out of ideas ( how i have no clue) so they just said add him into the story. Like ...who really likes Modok that much to make him so called..."Popular" as they sayin that who's gettin in? Then again i take Modok over Howard.

when this game does come out and i got my xbox live up and going, i really need to do some online battles. I wonder tho when the games does come out will the online fight arena be up and running off the bat or do we gotta wait 2 months before the circuit is available?
Plus.. i am going to write a letter to capcom and let them know ..i am a die hard oldie fan from street fighter 1 days....so all i ask for is one character, thats all. GIMMIE ASURA  ya stingy badgers! ... yeah never mind cause then i will get an email from capcom with no words but just an Asura icon with 2 middle fingers up.

To me MODOK was a sad attempt at an Ironman villain, they could have easily used mandarin.

I think Modok was chosen because of how visually different and unique he looks. If all the characters are average humans, it gets really, really stale. Same reason Tekken has Roger and Kuma.

Yeah but they arnt normal, they have a variaty of costumes and looks, super skrull isnt even human.

aight i went to the marvel bio site about him and yeah as you listed also hose are his powers. thing is tho he would have to play more like Dormammu to get a good use of his powers and not some ole light show basic hits and random specials. Yo ten powers including his own extrodinary martial arts skill? he would be like god tier in the game.  but i def would favor him in .

Never was. Just cause he looks stupid doesn't make him a trash character. Look at him, he summons reflectors which would probably annoy people and looks like he can actually do decent combos.
When this game comes out everyone is going to label Modok "cheap".

Then again that's how I see MODOK. I don't see him as trash like Servbot or Roll.

Plus, MODOK's a complete cool.  He's like, the opposite and equal of Deadpool.

His theme song in this game is also really awesome, I might add.
