huh? X has looked pretty much the same in every X game. Unless you mean the sprites/3d models but im sure any design is based in the art, not ingame models of previous games.

it would be pretty cool if they had noir spiderman as a secret character or alternate costume, warmachine would be cool to if he had his own moves and wasnt just an ironman clone, although warmachine could be an alternate costume for ironman

Actually the pic still looks like a teenager, which was what they were going for in X8.

That Taskmaster design looks pretty cool. Although I think that shadow could also belong to Moon Knight...

I TOTALLY forgot about ol' Taskmaster...it could indeed be him...but I SOOOOOO hope it is Moon Knight! I like moon Knight; he kicks major butt! Thought ol' Moony may be a LITTLE too intense for some of the kiddies >.< His comics get pretty graphic. Meh, they need to do it. On another piece of this topic, in that other image with the blue BG, that flaming-looking image COULD BE Sten, thta monkey character from Breath of Fire 2...I would like to see either of my 2 favorite BoF characters in this game OR in mugen: Rei from BoF 3 or Cray/Crey from BoF 4...either would be fine with me...oh and I JUST figured out who 'Katt' was that someone thought the cat-like shadow is...Katt is also a character from Breath of Fire 2...she is from the same race as both Cray and Rei and she uses a staff with paws on either end...she uses fire-elemental attacks in BoF2 I do believe. would be SWEET if it were her, but not sure since the shadow looks too bulgy to be Katt...looks just right to be Felicia though...also the flaming one I mentioned before could also be Rouge from Power Stone in here Powered form...anyone know who 'Gene' is that someone mentioned the other day?

Gene is from God Hand.  Its a pretty good game, also funny too.  I like how you can punch enemies into the sky

Even though the game wasn't all that great, you gotta admit she got a pretty interesting fighting style.

AusGamers: So we can't talk about any characters that are in the game (beyond those already revealed), but can I ask what characters didn't make the cut from either the Capcom or Marvel side you really wanted in there?

Niitsuma: Oh, that's a really nice question. There's actually quite a list of characters who were on the table until mid-development who just couldn't make it into the game for various reasons, but I wanted to include a couple of the monster-type characters, you know, from Resident Evil such as Nemesis or Tyrant, but they were considered a little to grotesque and disgusting and for ratings reasons they just didn't make it. From the Marvel side there were a couple we were considering using, such as some of the Fantastic Four characters, but for various reasons we just couldn't implement them, or they weren't on the right table but Marvel came back and said "why not use this character instead", and we responded "oh, okay that's fine", but unfortunately we couldn't get any of the Fantastic Four into the game.

they could and i repeat could be talking about Dr Doom. leaving that weird shadow to someone else and props to Capcom they are by far the best hype creators in the industry, kojima could learnt a thing or two from them.

Now that you mention it Vyn, that makes sense. If that's the case, I hope that shadow is MoonKnight, looks like he has received some attention, especially with MUA and Spider-man WOS.

I think I actually prefer having S. Skrull over having the F4 in it. They would be limited to their own powers, Skrull can combine and make new moves, Invisible Flaming Stretch PUNCH!

I only truly like Human Torch, others just are just not cool enough like many of marvel early characters (xcept xmen) and mr fantastic is kind of disgusting haha.

This kind of sucks because I know that Death's Head won't get any recognission in this game. It kind of sucks, but I wish they could have given him more love at Marvel (UK) or at CapCom

Looks like Disney *I mean Marvel* made the call about the Nemesis and the monster thing.. Can anyone explain how Nemesis is disgusting? Seriously.. come on.. I know Tyrant was a little wtf... but Nemesis? Really?
