I still believe Sentinel was a terrible choice to add, even though the worst one is MODOK...

Sentinel is very easy to beat. In fact, I consider him one of the easiest characters for me to beat since I've had sooo much practice against great Sentinel users. I rarely have a problem with him. Watch my "How to Beat Sentinel" video and read the description for the list of tips. It will help you a lot...

if you had asked this about a month or two ago when I thought Vergil was a Dante clone, I would have said yes. Now, not so much. He's different than Dante, but I still feel as though maybe a DMC villain would have been better. the Capcom side of things needs more villains IMO

My dog is now part of my reserve unit. My new teams have been making a mess of opponents and got me an 8th Lord Rank on 360 in a couple of hours...  

I even go toe to toe with Bozz Prototype now, unless he brings his Ghost Rider, which is insane...

I dont know why some of you say Sentinel is easy to beat because...

1. He can fly (obviously)
2. He's faster than BOTH Hulk and Nemesis
3. 3 Hit Super Armor for that stupid Crouch M? And Full Super Armor for that Stand S?
4. Has better ranged attacks than Hulk and Nemesis
5. A simple combo can be enough to win with him...
6. Has a spammable beam/laser (stand H/Crouch H)

Nemesis on the other hand...
1. Has 1 projectile, and one Long Ranged Attack (Deadly Reach)
2. Has NO invincibility on ANY of his supers (INCLUDING his Fatal Mutation Lvl 3)
3. Is EXTREMELY slow, possibly slower than Hulk
4. Has super armor on some moves, though it only seems to be a 1 hit super armor...
5. Can do heavy damage if can land a hit.

Ive been using Nemesis and he without a doubt is a major powerhouse, yet I still see Hulk and Sentinel users because of...

Yeahhh.... I don't understand how sentinel is easy to beat either, but I personally think he is easy to combo but then again  he is huge.

Myself I think hulk it far harder to beat then both sentinel or nemisis, all hulk needs id a 5 hit combo to  put you near death, for example my bro was playing his friend online and to prove how broken hulk is he just stood still and let his freind kill both his other characters. But the instant they were dead he owned all three of the characters in about 30 seconds. The worst part is is that he's only played as the hulk like ten times at most, and he easily beat all of a guy's team that he usually has a hard time beating.

I can't kill Hulk. X-23 is my only resort (at least in Vanilla) to him.

X-23 is perfect for dealing with Hulk, but I cant say much about her dealing with Sentinel. Though her Mirage Feint M is too fast for Hulk, Nemesis, or Sentinel to land a standard hit.

only reason ive beaten sentinels besides manolo's is because people try spam sentinel force which i counter with dante's teleport, bullet storm intoqcf light and combo from there. having someone with a beam assist like doctor doom also helps

Note: Characters restricted to play against me now are: Vergil and Zero. Omg my friend just like... yeah, I couldn't get 2 hits in before all my characters were dead. Vergil definitely should never have been in this game. WAY OVERPOWERED! UGH! -.-

i got to play a bit today with my cousins game. yeah ummm Vergil... super sparatic insane Speed + amazing sword slash speed with omg reach = Death.
when they made vergil they threw out slash range. . i swear i think the slash fx hit me before he even swung the sword!

i dont think hes overpowered. yes he can do crazy combos but almost all his moves are punishable even his normals because if you miss/get blocked he is forced to go into the animation to sheath his sword. this is most taken advantage of for his hyper combo. wovlerine/x23/wesker can do the same thing without the easily punishable moves

he can only do it twice stand s, stand h, stand s, stand h it drops if you attempt it again.  you have to follow up with an air combo after that. the only time it doesnt end is if you're blocking and i dont see how thats a problem if it does no chip damage.

whats up with low to the ground hypers  countering vergil's even though he's clearly in the air. rocket racoon's gatling gun hyper and one of x23's magically brings vergil down to the ground during his hyper combo thats in the air

I know that Vergil's hyper will move to the area in which the opponent is at even if he's in the air, it's similar to Wesker's hyper, and since X23's hyper is invincible for the start up frames she'll hit Vergil, or if she misses she'll hit him again when he comes back for another hit on her and rocket racoon's hyper is a projectile and will hit Vergil before Vergil can hit RR.
