Love the Wily Machine, but it brings back such bad memories of the Black Devil when I managed to not have Zero go evil. God that thing was hard.

Black devil made me give up on MMX5, I put it on easy, and he's still nigh impossbile. The only way I could beat him was with the ninja armour with X, and he's still pretty damn hard.

No Wait, I'm thinking X6.

I used the FLIGHT armour,I just flew over most of his attacks.

God. I didn't relized you people cared so much what it was called.

I had to used this cause the boss is too hard with Zero, he does massive damage and his weakness requires you to get to close to hit him.

I beat him with Black Armor Zero. Took me about 50 tries. And the Wily Machine was always what killed me.

An idea that may be hard to sprite:

Have the devil's body melt off the eye to the ground and create multiple bubbles that travel upward trying to capture the opponent, or just glue the feet to a pool of liquid, while the eye hovers in its last position. Once the opponent is captured the eye could shoot a beam or laser to inflict damage. The melted body could also slow down the opponent. The idea would also leave the eye open to an attack if the the opponent can get to it.

*Maybe you could use some sprites from Abyss for this or some other liquid like moves.

I like that... and the eye would take more damage because it is exposed!

yeah, it was just something I thought should be one of its hypers or even maybe just a desperation move before death. :-??

the black devil is way to easy if you didnt realize... if you play Megaman1 which you will encounter the yellow devil in wily's castle... the same attack to defeat it by using elecman's power... in x5 by using squid adler's attack same as elecman's

The Shadow Devil isn't hard, just ANNOYING AS HELL!  \-/o To defeat him is just a question of patience.

An idea that may be hard to sprite:

Have the devil's body melt off the eye to the ground and create multiple bubbles that travel upward trying to capture the opponent, or just glue the feet to a pool of liquid, while the eye hovers in its last position. Once the opponent is captured the eye could shoot a beam or laser to inflict damage. The melted body could also slow down the opponent. I liked the idea! Just the last move I needed!

So yeah my question still stands.

He will be a giant boss: slow moving, tank, no combos, no basic moves, cheap.

As for the Wily Machine, he will fall down from above the opponent to damage him (like Kintaro or Sheeva)
