Just Finished Metal Gear 2: Substan Yesterday and have a couple of questions...

Yeah I know I may be incredible outdate with this but hey...
I saw a copy of the game on X-Box for $8.00 last weekend and thought: "Why not? since I don't have an specific way to spend my free week before returning to college"

And also knowing that there are many fans of the series around...
So here are my questions...

1) Is there a way to save Emma's life when she get caught by Vamp or her death is part of the normal plot?
Since I'm not a good sniper user I thought it was my bad aim and slowness the reason of her death.

2) There are some soldiers from who I cannot take their dog tags...
I sneak from behind them with the "freeze" surprise, then go to the front and aim their heads with the gun and they tell me to shoot them instead of doing their weird dance.
Any other ways to get the dog tags from them or I need to aim the bastards with the Stinger?

3) Any special items or rewards like the bandana or the stealth camouflage from Metal Gear Twin Snakes?

1) Nope.
2) Fire right next to their head, shoot a limb, aim for their crotch, or pull out a bigger weapon. Take your pick.
3) Yes, but they're not quite as easy to get.

u can't save emma. her death is part of the game and metal gear story. for the soldiers who won't give u anything shoot them in their arm and leg. after u do that aim at their hea ad then they will shake to give u items. u can shoot both arms and one leg, but if u shoot all four they'll die.
as for special reward i'm not sure about those. i know in every metal gear u get something special by not using continues, barely saving, not setting off any alerts, and not killing any enemies in the game. u have to only use tranquilizers

don't you unlock everything by getting dog tags in that game? like, the more tags you have, the more stuff you unlock?

Dog tags for special rewards.
Is going to be a hard time trying to do that and trying to study for college.
