You have something cool starting here. I really wouldn't use these sprites for anything. To me this animation just totally screams blanka. You would be better off not using it at all, probably.

It is kinda a little too "Blanka".. If he kinda slimmed his mid section and stretched him out further upward when he does the push up it might be enough to make it really different and look better.

We stopped checking for monsters under our bed when we realized they were inside of us.

That's what I am saying. Yours was changed & doesn't remind me of Blanka's so much. Where as Camo's is exactly the same as Blanka.

Looking very good man, I particularly like the custom stuff like the winpose etc. Though as a suggestion I would mod a couple of those basics; they look quite Blanka-ish, also I could be wrong, but I think Hank is more of a puncher than a slasher. Keep up the good work. :)

i like aceys look better is more original, although i had an old version of beast n it was blanka edit not sure who made it :-??

i think beast would use his legs just as much as his arms and have muscle moves like zangief,

agreed, but IMHO I think Acey's is a little smaller than Blanka  :DxDie

Looks cool, though.  Beast was my main in X:ND, so I'm glad to see that's your inspiration for this one.

Actually, it says that blanka is 6' 5", while beast is only 5'11".

actually I think his beast looks about the right size.  acey's does look good but a little on the thin side and camo's makin his look a little more agile.  imt's beast is good looking but stiff.  maybe a combination of the two.  but zangief could help a bit.  also I'm doin a few things for him with blanka, zangief, and some other bases maybe it'll help

I Agree, some of these moves are just a copy of Blanka's and should be more original.

For example, I don't think Beast will use a poor move like this:


You should create moves which will show off his gymnastic nature, such as these photos:

I think the basics are fine as is. What'll really matter is how he plays out the specials/hypers, am sure that's what will really show of what Beast is known for. :thumbsup:

Intros & win poses are important also in making him differ from blanka  :thumbsup:

If you are going to do this, you've got half work done. How? I'll explain:

Take your lowkick animation, and reverse it. You can also use the extended leg fliping it 180 degree
Give more frames to the animation, change leg positions, and voila! It's done

With a little more work & some tweaking on the existing sprites, this could be really good. Nice idea jurk
