Steve Jobs (Apple) Reveals New Ipad

It's like a cross between a macbook and an Iphone.

Why would someone buy this? 1st they make things they want more compact (smaller) then they make things more expansive and expensive (bigger and more costly) In my opinion only a show off who wants to brag that they have money would buy this thing.

Its not a cross between anything and anything. Its a cross between taking what they had and making it bigger which makes no sense to me cuz the whole reason why they made this to begin with is so it can be more compact. They don't know what they wanna do and the sad thing is that its people crazy enough to buy this thing thinking they are gonna have a variety of equipment when its really just a variety of size. When they take it back home this is how I see it happening. "Guy takes Ipad home and realizes Ipad does thing similar to MAC. Guy wants to go out and tries to take Ipad with him realizes Ipad is too big (and hold the same info as a MAC) to be hauling around like that and holds realizes that the Iphone has the same-things and apps. So he takes the Ipad to show off to his friends. Friends tell him "Isnt all of that stuff basically the same-thing?" He goes back home and relizes how much of a waste of money it really was to buy a bigger Iphone minus the ability to call and less compaction yet it does of things similar to a MAC but why buy something similar in size.....yeah I think ya get the point bout time you get here. Like the GB tho

I am not impressed. It is just a giant ipod touch. What use does it have? I would rather have a Laptop or netbook than that.

To paraphrase a quote from Jobs (yeah, by the way nice name... do people say they want you a lot?), "The internet is much better than any other portable smartphone or laptop." That's the only thing that I have heard from him that is better about it....

I just hope I never see anyone in my school with a iPad. It will just look silly seeing someone trying to type on it.
