Flash drive & USB are the same thing dude. You also may want to have a portable hard drive to back up important files as well.. I heard a 120gb one is good to start out with... If you download a lot or something like that, then a 500gb one would be a lot better, but it may be pricey. It connects by USB too.

Back to Johnny though.. Have you started spriting again?

Yes I have. Between work and school, I haven't been as dedicated as I originally was, but thank God for the weekend, eh? :P

I'll try and put something up by this weekend

Sorry, gents. just a lame, preview-less update, showing that this project is not dead yet. School is just really tough right now, so I'm trying to get that knocked out

hehe.. Well I mean.. it's w/e... Whenever you have time. I know how sometimes spriting can be like you go to the computer.. You start spriting, and after the first one you're like... "ugh.. no more today..." I'm almost always like that... lmao!

That, and it doesn't help that I'm a total lazyass. After work and school, I'm just not up to the spriting, unless I've got an awesome idea to work on

Well when I was in high school... and now that I have less time.. I tried to do a little bit on the weekends.. maybe 2 animations every 2 weekends.. depending on the # of sprites... If the animation is 3 sprites, then I'd probably do 3 animations.. if 5 sprites or more then 2 animations.

Good luck man, and remember to get a flash drive and back up your work... weekly...

Well, I got several CD's that serve that purpose, so yeah :P

I'm getting a real kick outta that Johnny Bravo.

A lot of people did as well. All the more initiative to work on it. Thanks :D

Just saying.

I stick them in my pocket a lot & the part you insert into the USB slot becomes lose. So they usually won't function.

I have rarely broken a cd.

Me too, I even still have my BMX bike from the 80's that I used to do tricks on & it looks mint. So yes I take care of everything I own. But flash drives are pretty fragile in the pocket, just saying.....

Yeah, I've dropped a laptop while one was inside too, the usb snapped right off.

:o ummmmmmmm Yeah I wouldn't expect a flash drive to survive a crazy accident like that....lol

 ^^(PM)^

Agreed. Let's get back on subject.

@silenthillfan: On the 8th, he said he's trying what he can... so... hopefully little by little there's progress, at the least... It's very tough to start over, especially if you had newer sprites and didn't back most of them up. I'm sure that could be very difficult.

I hope you took all our suggestions in account as well, ZPC, about Johnny Bravo's look anyways. :)

Remember to back up your work once every week or 2, even when you're done with the spriting stage...

Not at the moment, no. My computer was on the fritz for a while, and just got it back to working condition. I apologize, I know I screwed you guys out of any tasty updates for a while, so I'll get back to work, now that my hardware is no longer a paperweight :P

lol. That's okay. Just hope it doesn't happen again...

P.S. It just sounds to me like you need to conjure up some $$ and get a new computer.

True, that. I do need a new computer, but I need to get some other things first. Like a car, for starters  :|

And I'll just say this now: I've only got a month-ish of school left. I'm not doing anything until then. Just want to get it out of the way before I get back to spriting, yeah?
