Oh man, there's a lot of comments to get to! Sorry, haven't had much time on the computer recently!

Before I get to specific comments, I want to say this: I am not at all offended by what anyone said! Like I stated, my silence was only because I could not get to my computer. Now, let me explain some things:

I mean it dont the johnny i remember.  He's been hitting the gym a LOT. Those well define muscles. They even in his paints.

Anyhow this started off nice then they told his to change bases and now what happened to Johnny. BEEF CAKE!!!!

Lol Beefcake :D. Anyway, of course it doesn't look like classic Johnny. The concept I went with here was an updated sort of Johnny, one suited for a fighting game. I was originally going to take an SNK style for the project, but it didn't work well, so I went Capcom. I wanted a newer Johnny, one a little less silly, but a little more cool looking. Of course, the humor will still be intact

It's not like someone just TOLD him to change the base for the heck of it . He had to.

He was using strong guy that was sprited by mcready. He Pmed him at scruffy & mcready denied him permission. What choice did he have other than to go with a new base?

Very true. Granted, I love how the redesign looks, and it looks way better I think, but I won't deny it, if McCready didn't Cease-And-Desist my current sprites, I'd still be using the not-so-great old sprites. I be lazy :P

Atice is right, I did so in about 1 minute on ms paint, it's really easy to edit.

Hmm... You make a good point here. I liked it as-is, but removing some of the detail does look better... Consider it done.

Thanks for the comments guys! Here I was thinking my Johnny thread would continue to collect dust. Thanks for reminding me otherwise. Now to make some changes...

EDIT: Changes made! Thanks again to ATICE for the suggestion!

Man, what is it with this project, and the sprites being constantly re-done? At least, with every revision, it looks way better :D

And now, a new sprite:

His KO-ed Sprite. and yes, he will say "Yeah Whatever"

Nice. Pretty much what I was looking for... Don't think you'll have to do much more changes... but what's up with his shirt? The shoulder edges look weird...

The shirts sleeves do look odd on many of the sprites. Take your time making the sprites ZCP. Your not running a marathon

I've been told that before. Something with the shoulders? Anyone care to clarify? Nobody's ever really given me a specific problem with the shoulders, so I've never been able to properly fix it. Personally, I think it looks fine as-is

I can't really sprite Johnny, but I was thinking of something in this nature...

Reference: Look at the example pic I gave.

I think it's because he has no shirt sleeves. It makes the arms look odd. I would sprite some for you, but I am really in no condition to sprite anything right now  :cool

He's looking better. The pants shouldn't look too muscle-ish. With the details removed on the pants, it's perfect now.

Oh bugger! That's one problem. It will be fixed

Atice, the pants thing was a great idea, but the shirt cuffs, well, I don't dig it. No offense. I mean, I tried it, but it just didn't work out too great

Yeah... I thought so too after making it.. I was like... hmm....

But look at the sprite you first quoted from DT: The left side of the sprite looks like you didn't finish the sleeve... and on the other side it looks like you forgot to even extend the sleeve to the shoulders like the other side.

GAH My computer fried! Thankfully, I had the good sense to back up what I've got, but still, the lack of a computer I can use 'till the early hours of the morning will slow things down a tad -_-

EDIT: Okay, so my computer didn't fry. it only overheated. Now, the fact it's overheating perturbs me (It's getting rather hot already)

I backed up all my projects, and will try to not overwork this computer

 ^^(PM)^

That stinks that you're computer overheated. I always turn mine off if I know I'm not going to use it until the next hour. No point in keeping it on if you're not gonna use it ya know. Especially when going out, turn it off.

Hope Johnny's slow progression will lead to more updates soon... Though, I think you said you were doing the more boring stuff... so... :-?? ;*))

Man, we've been over this: The sprites are in 24 bit Bitmap form, but Photobucket converts them to JPEGS when I upload my previews. My previews never look good compared to the actual version, so keep that in mind, yeah

Yeah, I guess it overheated because, since I've been working a lot recently, I haven't been good to turning it off when it should. Add on the many hours of Garry's Mod gameplay that my brothers and I play, and I suppose it was inevitable. Thank goodness nothing broke.

Yeah, by "boring stuff" I mean the blocking frames, and all that stuff. I've also been paying some attention to my other WIPS, ya know.

It's only my opinion, but maybe you should just focus on Johnny and Lillith for know. That way those two can get done then work on 2 more, and so on and so on. I know I tried to work on 3 once, and it gave me a headache because for one I had to resprite CvS sprites (pain in my arse, btw %-() and then the others well.. I only had the regular Fighter Factory so making them possible was a lot slower than now.. lol..

Well it's a good thing you backed up your wips.
But still watch out for your computer or else you have start Johnny Bravo and the other wips all over again.

My opinion.....

New creators should focus on one WIP at a time. I would focus on Johnny

BTW my home computer is on at all times. I NEVER actually shut it off. That liquid nitrogen cooling system was expensive...lol

Liquid Nitrogen? Dayum... My computer's too old for anything that fancy. I just need to buy a new one...

As for my multi-task regimen, I've got a weird system. I work on each WIP until I get bored of it. That way, I work myself as much as I am willing to on a project, then do a little bit of the others, then back to the first. The reason for this is because I tend to go overboard on some insignificant detail on the sprite, and after getting back to it, I find that it looks all right. It works for me. I've mostly been working on Johnny and Rumia, brainstorming more ideas for Lilith, and looking for a coder for Jigen. Dan will get some attention at some point :P

Well it's a good thing you backed up your wips.
But still watch out for your computer or else you have start Johnny Bravo and the other wips all over again.

Indeed. I have two hard copies, one on a Flash Drive, and the other on a CD. Should my computer fry, I can continue it elsewhere. :D

I leave mine on all the time, I only turn it off to reset it. I don't know how it survives it is kinda old. I may have a magic cooling system. :D

Do you have a USB? It's easy, but a CD is fine too.
