It doesn't matter guys. i know how mcreedy operates. He doesn't usually let anyone edit his sprites. So i really seen this coming.

Anyway, read kojunho's post. You should be able to use the same exact bases & come up with a very similar look to your sprtes.

I think that means he is just going to re-start with some new sprites. Honestly I was expecting this from square one too, not many people at Scruffy Dragon will let you work with their sprites.

No way! I already had the 9-1-1 in mind! It was actually a video clip of that on Youtube that really got me pumped to make this. I'm actually gonna use this clip in case Johnny is put in a fight against himself. Like, he'd see the other Johnny, and say "Who's that handsome guy!? Hello, 911 Emergeny? There's a handsome guy in my house. Oh, wait a sec, it's only me...  Wait a sec-" Fight starts!

Please tell me this means you're not giving up just yet...

Did you save as a bmp, cuz photobucket turns those into jpg's.

I prefer gif files myself for single sprites, but png works if you have allot of colors, and photobucket wont convert png's into jpgs like they do with bmps.

Very nice sprite and avatar, but his pants show a little too much muscle and they should be a tad smaller in my opinion... (in width, I mean... and only a little smaller in height. Remember he has a huge upper body, but a short lower body.)

idk, I like it as-is. You have to remember that Johnny is a big, muscular dude. So any opportunity to show off muscle is fine with him. Also, I think it makes him look cooler, and more detailed, but that's just me.

Yeah, laugh it up, you have every right to. If not for that mix, this project would probably be dead

Just doing what I could to keep this project alive. If you were really going to give up, I was going to make a sprite from those bases & post it as an example. Just to give you some " ambition " I'm glad you beat me to it. Good Luck, the sprite looks great

Since MI's been down for a while, I've been wondering how this project going. Seeing you post your progress here now, I recently read some old posts from other users. You finally knew that McCready originally made the Strong Guy sprites and didn't give you permission to edit them, forcing you to start over from scratch. It's sad to hear that and hope you get enough progress using T.Hawk and Hulk as the bases to create Johnny. Good luck.

Well, think of the first version as a learning experience so now you'll be able to take all that experience into the new version.

of us have had similar experiences as you have had so you saw that many of us were not surprized with the outcome.

Not sure if anyone mentioned it yet, but I believe the full mix for Strong Guy was Hulk's upper body with a mix of Sabretooth's and Venom's legs. Sorry to hear you have to start over but am sure you'll be fine either way.
