Not DoA bad.. I still believe Legend of Chun-Li had great casting for the most part just really poorly executed film. So, who knows if Tekken will be on the same level but here's hoping it's much better.

i really want this to be good but these kinds of movies never are. guess i'll just have to wait for the release and reviews from real tekken fans

thats exactly what i was going to say. if it turns out to be horrible, maybe they'll make an anime version of the live action film thats better.

I'm taking a guess with a big fat no. They see how much a game franchise becomes popular, and then the actually play the game. They lose at it so bad, that they decide to make a horrible movie to get back at the franchise.
 
On the serious side, I just think that they see the popularity of a game, and try to make a quick buck off that by making a movie based loosely on the franchise. Think about when Pokemon came out, how soon everything else followed: with the card game, the show, the toys, and the other accessories.

OK, i remember that DOA trailer now! Never knew it was actually finished...still looks horrible. IDK bout the KOF movie tho, honestly

Live action video game movies just flat out suck. the ppl who are in charge of these films should really stick to cgi like the in game movies. i think theyd get better results, respect and reviews that way and itd be a lot easier to stay true to the games themselves. at least the square enix ppl are smart enough to do so and keep their releases to dvd's alone.
