Homebrew Channel has some pretty neat stuff so that you can mess around with games, mostly Brawl with texture hacks, music, and even PSAs, which can pretty much make a character like a new one. There's also changes to who you can play as, such as the Alloys, Giga Bowser, or Super Wario. With other games, there's also the fact to cheat with an infinite amount of items/weapons.. Such as Mario Kart Wii. A backup launcher is also available so that you can either play games off of a disc or a USB. The only problem is that if you don't follow the tutorial to it, there's a chance that you may brick your Wii. There's always the chance that your IP can be banned by Nintendo if hacking on online games. Anyways, all you need for Homebrew is an SD card, really.

The Virtual console downloadble games are great too, you can get a great history of fighting games which will make you more aware in the mugen universe as well.

Yeah, Nintendo 64 is represented as well so you can get old favorites like Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Super Mario 64.

The Wii is great because you can have all of your favorite games for all of Nintendo's generations available on one system.
Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64 and the Wii plays Game Cube games as well.

360 is only cool if you can hack it. Microsoft doesn't like that at all. PS3 lets you install a new O.S.

Does your Wii have the hombrew channel installed? Its much more fun if you mod it via the twilight princess save hack.

Don't get a 360 unless you buy a extended warranty. M$ has really pee'd me off for the last time. RROD prone console like crazy. Plus it's such a simple re design to fix it completely. All they have to do is sand down the inside of the metal chassis .75 MM and then make a thin metal clamp about 4 MM thick I believe instead of the X clamps. Then add rubber shims onto the GPU and CPU and boom reep the profit. Million dollar profit for a $100 fix max. Heck the modding scene has already developed all the parts m$ just has to rip it from them.

There is little to no point in investing in 360 unless it I can turn it on 20 years from now and there is a sure fire way to softmod in like I have done with my classic xbox. Not promoting piracy but wouldn't mugen be awesome with all that extra horsepower?

As for texture hacks, some guy got walugi as a playable character which is so much cooler.

Hacking your Nintendo Wii is pretty cool but there is a risk of getting your IP Address banned if Nintendo catches you if I recall.

only ban if you use it to hack Online games. My friend hacked his so bad he cant play as Olimar, Peach, and Pikachu. I use my homebrew just to play ROMS of NES,SNES, and N64 games. I dont want my copy of brawl to get like that, trust me dude XD

Godzilla Unleashed is cool once you get the hang of the controls. Mario Kart, and Super mario Brothers, Lego Batman, the Spiderman game (whatever the name is) TNA Impact, Ghostbusters, The new Smash Brothers is hours of fun.
