Looks okay, not a fan of those trees at all though, they kinda look like they were done with the MS paint spray can...
Also I think it needs some thing else in the background layers...

I agree with worksa, I even put this in MUGEN and omg... trees are terrible... make them regular and put glow around them... something like that.

Just the way the stuff is placed...

Obviously you've never played Secret of Mana...

So you'd rather have stages with horrendous scaling, stolen FX, and projectile glitching?

As a fan of the Mana series (I've completed three of them), I love the stage.

When I went through the ice forest in SoM, I always felt as if it was a place that had been frozen forever.  That the trees never saw leaves because they had ice frozen on them so long that they were practically crystals like the ones seen in the ground.

So I don't feel the trees need to be changed at all.

FF7 sparks released.

1- That's just un called for, you can't read my mind and know what I like/don't like.
2- I spent HOURS contacting people to get those stages offline, to get crap from you guys.
3- I liked that Spawn stage- stolen FX or not I like it still. Doesn't mean I condone that, but I still like that stage.
4- The scaling is fine honestly, I don't mind a stage or two like that now and then (Just not all of them)
and the projectile issues are caused by the scaling, so only ONE of those is a bad thing.
5-Doesn't MOTVN take other peoples artwork for his graffiti stages and not credit them?
6-You realized you couldn't start a firestorm on CVG so now you want to try here?
I could go on, but frankly I don't feel like it right now, especially on X-mas eve.

I guess every creator is a theft because all of the stealing of sprites of Capcom, SNK, Sammy, etc. Therefore that argument on that side is invalid.

Not true, I mean at least those companies KNOW their work is being used, and they gain advertising benefits from it. (Hell thats why I bought MvC2). Artists often don't know their work is being used and claimed by others until it suddenly pops up in a youtube video- and they have no idea who made the stage and how to contact them.
I think it's a very accurate statement, even though I can see the difference.

most artists dont care they just care that the art is at least being seen
One does not have to create to critique.

Dunno what the argument's all about, but let's chill out for abit. This is a release thread, let's just stick with giving feedback and not bring up dirt about one another...especially on Christmas Eve.

As for the stage, I think it's cool. Being a Mana fan (Secret of Mana was my 1st RPG before the FF series, so I have an ever-lasting attachment to the Mana series), I remember this area of the game well and understand why it was designed the way Dissidia did it. It may not be the most spectacular of stages, but is is a very good rendition of the 8-bit game (other than the color issue). Hope you pump out some more Mana stages if that's your current interest

Sometimes yeah, and sometimes know- I'm just saying they should get to say yes or no themselves instead of having others in the mugen community say it for them. Some might not agree though, and I would udnerstand- but honestly the guys above have just been following my posts to try and start something with me again, it's good to know I'm so loved <3

Edit: Okay Sabaki, thing is I DON'T want to start anything, so I'll happily shut up xD

Thanks Sabaki, I was aiming for a Mana stage, especially Hi-Res since their's hardly any Mana stages converted for MUGEN.

SNES was 16-bit actually.  ;)
Hope you pump out some more Mana stages if that's your current interest
Unfortunately, my interest right now is creating a Rival Schools rooftop stage, and it's coming along great so far.

Oops. I had NES on my mind for some reason.

Fair enough. Rival Schools was also one of my fave games as well. Had some fun matches playing part 2 in the arcades while in Japan.
