Hes a beast a freestylin.  Believe if I see Cassidy freestyle on a mixtape im hittin that up but im not feeling his commercial flow.  The album wit "Im a Hustla"  is aiight tho.

Rap is just know coming into a maturiy as well as computers.  When I was in college and younger there was no cross culture.  Very few people owned computer let alone have internet.  I am older than most people on this forum so I have seen both rap and computers grow over the years.  I listen to christian rap, I was making fun of anyone.

Haha, that's why I just had to ask...cause I had the torch ready just in case. But I guess I feel you, it's just because computers have become the norm these days. It's almost the same as if you were just talking about Hip Hop with somebody around the way...on some underground ish.

Christian Rap huh? I don't know ANYTHING about Gospel rap...except that I've yet to like anyone who's spittin that. Though, I do know a couple dudes round my way that are lyrically tight, and they FAITHFULLY convey the Gospel. In fact, one of them I work closely with on my label, my boy Lyric Nawqiy. Seriously...the boy is gifted lyrically, but we're trying to work on his style because it's pretty unique, it's still a little underdeveloped. ANYWAYS, you got any artists that you feel can get up there with the best of the best who spit Gospel? I'm curious to hear that, it'd be something different.

Ok, I'll hit that link when I get to the crib...the one issue that I've had with many Gospel Lyricists (just pulled a name off the top), is from what I've heard, they're too narrow. EVERYTHING is about praise, or about how they were in the streets, found God, and decided to spit about it. I just feel that even as a Gospel artist, they've taken the art out of emceeing. That's just from my experience, which is why I say I need to hear more. I, personally, am not a religious person...I am, however, spiritual. I'd like to here an artist who's different, and is not afraid of their own creativity.

I gotta admit though when I was living in Mississippi my cousin had me listen to some group called Gospel Gangsters. Just hearing the name I immediately blew it off. But the beats they had were NiCE I wouldnt say the same for the lyricism though. It was like Wu-Tang's early overlapping style over slow southern beats (before everybody got crunk).
