And I dont know how much of that hear say I can believe after hes blown into one of the most promonent rappers in hip-hop suddenly I ghost wrote for the brotha myself. ya know  what I mean. Wayne has improved over time still working on making a good album though but what can you say the features, mixtapes, hes one of the constants in my radio. But dont get me wrong thats not what I think its all about it much deeper than that the message is so important you know especially now aday with the whole Idea of hip-hop and selfexpression thrown into some franchince to be marketed, I.E. disney. I love that new mr. west, and that rich boy/ lets go get this paper man been along time since I heard a song like that with a good message just my style a true down brotha from the heart. Id have to say pac was the last time I heard something like that I wish we could use hip hop and the strong fellings we all have about it to join us together as a force and to help each other to achieve greater things.But hey I said to much already later skater

What's good fellas? About wayne, Gille claims he ghost wrote an unspecified amount of music from the carter one. Something along the lines of gillie being in the crew and getting embarrassed by wheezy is what brought it to the light. If any of you guys remember early lil wayne tracks: the carter was a huge turnaround from what he was, but who knows? The real question is: What do yall think about two grown men kissing?

I think it is important that a artist write his own music in my opinion if hes not writing it, its like watching milly vanilly especaily a rap artist so if this is true wont someone youtube it or google some real info on the subject and my question is what do you all think of dancehall hip hop, attack of back to breakin and the 80s or the grim future of hip hop reduced to beats and dancing words dont mean s it

It only went as far as Wayne saying that he was a liar and that he doesn't write...he freestyles his verses so he doesn't know how Gille could've wrote for him, and if he got paid like he claimed he did, then where is the check? Where's his money at? That was where it died at.

I thought Gillie was a feind at 1st.  I say he's just lookin for some attention.  Whether or not he ghost wrote for wayne is yet to be seen.

There is some truth to Gillie & Wayne. Gillie used to be with CMR when Wayne was still a rookie. There are many of instances where their styles a very much alike. I honestly cannot name out the tracks because I am not big on Cash Money (never really caught my attention). But Wayne was young and could barely put bars together. Then Gillie went to be one of Major Figgas...Right? Now Waynes got his education on (<<yeah- i said it) and his wordplay is so much better and even prior to that he made some commercial hits.

All I gathered from that was, Gilly (or Gillie, or Gille, however the hell you spell his name)=Average whack rapper, Lil Wayne=Above Average fake rapper. Man, the industry's f**ked up right now.

Can't hear it now, but I'll check it out later. They're good doh, and they get of love in the Chi...(at least those of us who actually LISTEN to Hip Hop round here). I don't think they're underrated, it's just that they don't make that commercial crap, so they don't get the radio play they deserve, (which is common these days). I think they're respected in the true circles doh.
