hey hey leave this guy alone i agree and disagree. ive been listening to rap my whole life i still do but the underground stuff only.  but now the underground is the new mainstream!!???    so i agree with you too rap and hip hop is crap.....now.  sorry but this music has been killed.

i honestly hear ya but its always gone both ways from my perspective. Ive never seen one rapper that is good or bad and didnt make some kinda song about celebrations, partying or clubbing. Its an experience everyone goes thru and most prefer good music or something that will put them in a better mood. Hence the club sound thats plaguing the commercial market.

90 percent of hip hop now has either A. finger snaps B. claps C. sayin ya every sec.    sorry but its bad now.   rap is still good but its real hard to find a artist that i respect and isnt some idiot who jus got lucky

Gore Whore, the thing to do is to give a listen to the artist that are spin offs of the commercial ones. Often they have a better sound and arent over popularized and tend to be less annoying. I understand what you mean with the A B C points but there are artist that have used, destroyed and reinvented all of that. I personally dont care for it either but its not the production you should be listening for if thats your take on it.

ya i do that already but i have to listen to the underground of the underground over here were i live at (texas) cause over here the underground IS THE MAINSTREAM i know that doesnt make sense but it is.  and i know what you mean i do give some people a listen and i do find some good people here and there but my point is that a lotta rap and hip hop has lost its true art and meaning threw out the years.

nawh, i disagree. IMO if all or most, of the veteran (10yrs or 5 albums+) rappers came back around and put their own personal stamp in the game again it would revive things. Its all these new fools thats f**kin thangs up right now.

85 percent is not worth listening too anymore, its sad. and the rest, who can do it. are either being put down by the type of people who listen to kanye west and all that bulls***, or there in such disgust, they have no reason to rhyme anymore.
