You should check him out...great MC. Look for K'Naan - Voices In My Head, it's my favorite song from him. But as far as sampling...the skies the limit, I can't really say what's good and what's not, just about everything can be sampled. I can't check the video right now but when I get to the crib I'll try to see if I can help you out.

Im really losing a lot of interest in Hip-Hop. It isnt that Im gonna give up on it and throw out all the music I have

Seriously though, w/o naming artists/songs, 98.77659% of the time I end up turning off, walking away, plugging my ears, changing the station or just going to grab something old thats already above the current expectations or new stuff from veteran rappers with more than 5 albums.
