Yet another case of a drug overdose  RIP Big U we gonna miss ya.
Here is the link to the story http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/wrestling/2759556/Umaga-has-died-aged-36-Friends-and-family-pay-tribute-to-former-WWE-WrestleMania-headliner.html I would have done anything to see him do a superkick 1 more time. This guy was one of my favorite wrestlers. He didnt even get his chance at the WWE ttile or the WHC which he should have been had.

Rest in Peace dear Edward Fatu  :(

I'm shocked...first Andrew "Test" Martin and now Edward "Umaga" Fatu.

Not my favorite wrestler i have to admit, but surely he was pretty skillful for a man of his size
We will miss you,Samoan Bulldozer

Btw,in case you didn't know,he was The Rock's cousin(iirc)

Wow, that was unexpected.

I always thought that match he had with John Morrison before he left the WWE was pretty darn good.

Eddie's definitely not the first.

This has been an ongoing trend for years.  Wrestlers either die from drug overdoses, heart-related problems as a result of drug use, and other side-effects of drug use.

Before Eddie Guerrero, it was Boss Man.  Before Boss Man, it was "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig.  Before Curt Hennig, it was Rick Rude.

I can only imagine who'll be next...

Back to Umaga, I doubt it's drug overdose, hell he was pretty much a fat blob.

i can feel yall on that , well the only thing i can say about all that from the comments is i dont know Mj or umaga personally to love them, but i can say i have always admired Mj music career and umaga's character he portrays in the ring. I wish i got to see him wrestle live . Love them? that is quite unrealistic for me to be all like that but again i did admire them for their personas. RIP all the wrestlers and MJ.
  >:-(-| Today is my great grandfathers funeral and its going to be alot of people there. just from him and my great grandmother who passed 4 years ago they made a family total of 213 people just from them alone.  RIP grandpop i love you and miss you.

Way before that was many other wrestlers. Just some of them weren't that well known. Anyone remember Brian Pillman?
Bryan Adams ( Crush )  was in the most recent wave of deaths also. I think he is the one I will miss the most. I always was a fan of his & even hung out with him after a WCW event. He seemed like a pretty cool guy.

And how about Owen Heart ? he died by an accident in the ring.

R.I.P all died superstars . :'(

That is one thing that Inwill never forget. I was watching that pay per view live when it happened. You never really seen what went on because of the delay, but you knew. The next days Raw was the saddest thing I have ever seen. Watching the WWE superstars. When Triple HHH was crying on national television, even the coldest heart had to feel something. It was odd, that was a very sad day. Obviously I didn't know Owen Hart, but it felt like someone close to me passed. A few of my friends felt the same way I did. Maybe it was because the way it happened in the ring.

not saying this to be rude, but you know its funny that everyone cares about him now, saying how much they love him now and everything and when he was alive no one even cared that much about him

I kind of noticed that too. He is now many people's favorite wrestler.   o.O#

I'm not going to get all crazy & say he was the greatest wrestler of all time, or he was one of my favorites, because he wasn't. But Umaga did put a smile on my face back in the day with his ability & his antics.

I didn't see anything mentioning drugs had to do with his death. Though, it wouldn't exactly surprise me now a days. In any case, two heart attacks by the age of 36.? Damn, man.

Am I also the only one that noticed that Mr. Kennedy seems to have been the last person to wrestle against Umaga and Eddie before their deaths.? Quite an odd coincidence.

We stopped checking for monsters under our bed when we realized they were inside of us.

Actually wasn't Umaga's last match against C.M. Punk? Unless he wrestled Kennedy outside of WWE and I just don't know. *shrugs*

R.I.P. Umaga. Sucks to see such a talented man die so young.

it was an overdose, cuz when his wife saw him dead he was nose bleeding and back in july '09 he was fired from wwe cuz he didn't wanted to go to rehab (he said no no no) after the wwe did the drug test... by the way, he really was one of my favs wrestlers, but let's be serious, he as guerrero and test, were really looking for death...

I always find that funny whenever someone dies i usually go to youtube to look up some of there matches and theres always someone in the comment section who thinks he's "The Greatest Wrestler to ever live"

I felt like a jerk as soon as I heard Umaga was dead; I went around calling him the Samoan Fata$$ last year because my best CAW lost 3 matches to him on SmackDown vs. RAW 2009.
