Me personaly, I honestly feel that Street Fighter 3: Fight For the Future had the best music over all. The music in SF4 from an overall standpoint doesnt even compare to the past titles, I just wish in SF4 they would have taken the music from the GOLD/Alpha titles and used Gen's. that theme was woooooo( no Ric Flair intended

SF2THDR. OCRemix did an awesome job on the music. Which is awesome considering it was done by everyday average joes.

I love sf3 3rd strike's music. It was up tempo and definitely kept you into the fight!! don't ask me about sf 4 (or in my opinion sfex 4 YEAH I SAID IT!!!!) just wasn't right..... hd had a cool soundtrack as I loved jose the bronx rican's reggeaton interpretation of dee jay's stage music and cammy's was hot too!!

Street Fighter Alpha 3 has some good music. I personally like Bison's and Shin Akuma's bgms. And the thing about SFA3, 33 characters, 33 stages and 33 bgms.

oh hell yeh hands down man . i always like the 3rd stike series music. Alex's W impact music (on the roof) was one of my favs in that series
And sorry the old Snes Turbo Edition music i always liked too. even the sound effects. i hated the sound effects in super street fighter . Alpha series had some cool ones too like kens in Aplha 2 & Rose. and hell yeh Guy theme!

As for the music in SF4 its funny you mentioned that. Cuz although it doesnt touch the past classic street fighter themes, it was done by one of Capcom's best composers. I have an ear for music and i thought the "approaching" death music remix (in SF4) of the stages when a person is low on health did sound all too familiar in style to a certain game and i was right.

So to confirm i had to look up the composer and it was the same dude. i was like
i mean SF4 music is cool but it isnt that composer's best works by far .

but anyway SF3 soundtrack wins

I personally like the SF4 soundtrack, SFA3 had some good themes but I find SF3:3rd Strike had the worst soundtrack

Best street fighter soundtrack is 3rd strike i like the character soundtracks from sf4 but u rarely get 2 hear those the rest of the music is garbage

hmm never really payed attention to that soundtrack too much. but did noticed the intro music was hot too...

Back in the day, I used to hum ken's theme from SF II all the time. That song will go down in history as one of the greatest video game themes for a fighter of all time. I even learned how to play that theme on guitar & so have many others ( see youtube...

) So for that theme alone I have to vote for Streetfighter II

dude you wasnt the only one ..
kens theme is still memorable. i taught my self how to play his theme on the keyboard way back ...

cant go wrong with Street fighter 2 turbo at all
