Just to clear something up, I am not degrading you at all DEMONKAI.
Infact I commend you for taking the next step into mugen and doing something as productive and making a character is basically the hardest thing to ever accomplish in mugen.

Big ups to you for that.

lol he wont be cheap like him though :-j. that effect im tryin to use it a certain way like Guilty gear but my coding skills of course arent A+  :(

no doubt Thanks syn. Yeh man it was bound to happen and yeh its tough creating. i had some CVS sprite packs for a while since 2007 just sittin on my pc and finally got the balls to watch some youtube vids n stuff and try it officially this year. hell i still dont even know how to make multiple colors for em to have from scratch. so that one basic color is all he has right now 8=| :-[ ???

yeh no doubt man. well ill see Syn 8). Ill try that in some time as a matter of fact. i do need some new colors badly 8=|



but yeh. Heres the latest ive fixed folks. i figured out a way to make that "Rare akuma" effect i recently dubbed "mark of the wolf" (lol) to work just right and "only" at certain times.

It shows while i charge and it shows breifly while the super attack is happening. i maybe adjustin the timing a bit more though how it shuts off...


(charge effect will change tho)


Now.. the last thing im wondering about that effect is can i make that "Rare akuma" holo effect a different color?


eh anyway,..thats the latest today :-??..

finally figured out AI coding and triggered My chars agression

Ive added way more moves than that and there will be multiple intros & win states dealing with his elements and
typical Terry bogard persona. ala Hat Toss etc

Dont judge the AI. i justed got it to work so right now im slowly workin through the process.
wonte be a cheap char but he wont be a wuss against combo crazy AI enemies

New secondary Intro & Win state added.


The video lagged a bit in the begining. When he drops down its hella fast.
He says "Geese...." when hes rising up. I thought about Jojos bizzare adv moments so i added that
Exclamation mark and that sound. That dramatic special flicker going around is from a hyper effect of course.
Thought it would work nicely with the intro. For the terry fans like me, dont worry about his normal traditional supers.
They will be added. Those suped up ones yall be seein are for another plan and will trigger a different way in the end.....


ill say just think back to the Old "AOF days" ;)

well, More to come and im still tweakin the AI. after that ill be trying to get chain combos to work. My combos suck right now so
i have to study some methods to get it work right :-w.....

New video test of some things ive changed and also still tinkering with his New AI. i wanna tone em down just a bit...
i made more videos but i put up this one because It shows certain details that i changed and added.

1) i changed His Voice to "POWER!"....instead of "OK!" when hes about to do that Super Inferno Geyser
As im creating this terry i get change in ideas so youll see that in every other vid.

&

2) In his secondary Win state during the Hat toss. I figured out a way to use a good trigger with the play sound.
I noticed how time anim() worked so cool for certain other chars in different situtaions so i tried it with sound and it worked!

Well i like lil details so i added a sound effect when the hat hits the ground. I noticed other author terrys didnt do that so
i wanted to see if it would in general :P..



I always like Havin em Fight this Violent Ken type  Because its usually a good fight . That V ken inpsired me to create that dash move
and the Blaze N daze combo. V Ken always comboed my creation to death so i had to upgrade em. My terry has a parry too. But im
still fixin the AI for it..

Thanks man. Yeh im trying hard with this and taking a lot of advice. Im long over do trying to create. I was intimidated to create at one point but this year i said screw this i gotta try this also -/o. cant be that hard ;*)). Its tricky buts pretty fair to understand. I took some good advice from Reu and a lot others a while back and now. "Read the docs and study chars and see what makes em tick"....But when i hit a brick wall thats when i ask questions. Thats been my method my whole time and why i got this far 8).

Now the A.I. is somethin else lol 8=| First i had to get The "Winane method" right. After 2 1/2 months i finally realized i had the triggers wrong o.O# . So yeh i gotta keep chippin at the AI and studying the right ways for my terry to fight decent and not too crazy.

Chaining the combos is the last thing before release. Thats just as tricky. But ill get there :-??

while fixing other stuff with the project i had to give em a Ryo/Mr Karate kinda flying kick move

I checked out other terrys by authors and they had a lotta cool lookin 2 hit custom moves...
but Mainly a char named King Shishoh (Leo from Kazuna tag encounter) inspired me to make a move like that
Anyway I called the move "Wolf Crack shot". I just chopped up some voices and altered em a bit and now he says
"Wolf-CRack-shoot!"... :-?? 8)

Thought of Others also..but its pretty solid when u use it. later i gotta try to fix it where
if he misses or it gets blocked it stops all together.

just another cool move thats different with the frames...


AI is doing ok. but damn its still tricky \-/o..


I understand chain combos and why it wasnt triggering now but i have to revamp my whole
fighting situation with the frames and im not gonna do all that 8=|...ill leave that for next time..
Studied some other characters and noticed that. Im in way too deep with my char so ill stick with the
solid cool fighting moves and thats it...some chain and some dont....

youll notice in the video anyway when the CPU does it..

New Move i call "Super Rising Phoenix". Basically this Terry Tapped and upgraded his Rising Tackle. This move also ingulfs the apponent with flames attached for a few seconds after contact. still Trying to code a helper for that :-w.
(pardon the vid. it started laggin a bit. usually doesnt do that all the time)


This move was inspired By violent Ken also. His uppercuts are so vicious so i had to think up a new "Payback" move \-/o.
This move isnt as strong as the the other two but its hella Effective when u catch a person off guard. Once they are caught
its haha "GOod Luck!".. :D. The other two first supers im still trying to code it as "Last minute" moves.

That eagle sound i just ripped from an eagle swaking off youtube then just chopped and altered it with an echo. I actually wanted a more defined Phoenix sqwall but eh this will do for now until i change my mind :-??...

char in general is about 80% complete. still having some tricky issue with the AI. the CPU does certain moves in the air and i dont want that. 10% more basic frames have to be added in that are missing. 5% more specials have to be added. And 3 more supers will finalize the char release.

After his release. in time i will update em only once. Then ill be studying how to sprite edit for Demon Terry.

"Updated Visuals" of THe Super Rising Phoenix.
Since ive gotten better at understanding and Recognizing Coding
i finally pulled off The Traditional "Melty Blood" style Hyper effect
for my Super.

Small details:
Added a "random" voice at times of em yelling as his using the rising tackle in the air with it.

Added a "Random" Voice at times of em saying "Whew" when hes coming back down from the super attack.

Last effect added for this move will be The Flames that engulf the apponent as said before



and again Dont pay attention to the damage in any video. i already know what does damage. when the char is ready. All that stuff will be managed properly

Updates:

-Made my charge up move look and work better. Took out the wack effects i didnt want since my coding skills were lacking.
Studied a couple chars to see what i was doing wrong

-My intro slightly darkens as he drops in from the sky. messed around with that dark trigger effect.
Added heat particles as a small detail to that comet effect that follows the drop. The heavier Gong sound you here when you see
the exclamation mark is what i really wanted. I found one of my favorite Mugen chars (Master Geese) and used that Terry Vs Geese Gong sound i always liked. So props to that author. dunno where he got it from but that sound is hot

-added Heat Particles in his Super Inferno geyser (aka Power Geyser)

added heat Particles In my Super Rising Phoenix move

Happy New years peopez.

Well like i said before id jump back on coding and coming up with new stuff for the Awakened Terry project and i have a new one.
"Super Raging Wolf Encounter". This was pretty easy to do since now i really get this coding stuff. Im just forgetful at times to trigger certain things

Its "not 100%". a few things im still adjusting and the super cancels you see arent the real ones that will be in the end. In this vid in just using em to test it to see if it worked like that with two brief super cancels. "So dont pay attention to that!"

Details:
1)I edited another sprite to em. I changed his "Thumbs up" to a Finger pointing animation. Gave em a thumb knucke look and a index.  ;*))

2)I Had the stage music stop briefly then added a @ss whippin Theme song as its happening. I wanted to put the fatal fury theme "Oh Angel"...but i dont have the mp3. I chopped and edited the music u hear so it fades out nice n cool. My artist homey also makes music so i learned some sound tricks. The special effects he says he can do from scratch so im waiting to see what he has in mind. Ill do that with Demon terry and Hell Gate Geese in the future.


Note: The Dash in look will change in some ways of how he connects and misses. I want to put in a "Escape roll" sorta look unlike the buster wolf miss. When he connects with this super i think i may give a shoulder tackle. But we will see.

2 more supers will make it six. lol i see chars made with freakin 10 and im like d@mn /:O :-j. So 6 is enough

After im done with mugen. Ill be messing with Flash. i wanna team up with a friend of mind for a short lil clip. he makes music. we both draw so we gonna try somethin. Mugen creating is just giving ideas for better stuff

An update of the "Raging wolf encounter"

Details:

(no more effects will be added to that move). The music of "chaos legion" plays as the super dramatic look is triggered >:D.
I was gonna go with the "DReam Cancel" style effect look but it wouldnt have made sence technically. Cuz its not a cancel move :-??.

-I changed the first Attack look to a short "dash" animation followed by a "Soulder Tackle" like i mentioned some time ago.
It looks better now.

-He yells "YOu Dead!" At "random" when hes charging his "Wolf power" in the air. So its hella funny

-The Screen turns Blood red when you finish a person off with this super and The "Rising Phoenix". I coded a slow down KO look in general when My terry finishes a person. But the "Red BGFX and KO finish effect explosion" only happens with those two supers. Its hella cool to see in testing on the screen.

-I coded the move you see in the video As the Last minute MOve. So basically when Your energy is basically at 0' or near that and at level 3, only then it will happen. So dont worry about how "too powerful it looks". Basically if youre not determined to win with my char just dont do certain moves lol...

My char is hella flashey and trust me its hella dope to see when you finally test em. I would put out a beta but i dont want any flames. why? cuz half the stuff people will mention thats wrong with em technically i "already know" is wrong. i dont have help on this so im just doing what i can for now and what im figuring out. When hes released that means ive done all i could and just need guidance for the next creation.


When i finally fix and nail his AI thats when he will be released and im starting to fix that better btw ;).

so hes pretty much at 90% progress ;D.

coded a lotta AI stuff. chained up some real killa combos..

but anyway heres my alternate Intros.

These intros only happen when my Terry faces certain mugen chars or Authors chars

Here i show how i coded in and updated The last minute move. THe CPU executes it.
Normally you cant do this move Unless hes at LVL 3 and extremely low to no energy.
AI is Vicious and on point at this point so caution with my Terry!

Char is at 98%. id release em now but some frames dissappear when he gets thrown. its odd.
all the frames are there but only when he gets thrown certain ways the frames dont trigger :-??

anyway ill ask about that in Help section. its actually a hands on issue for you cats to understand

You might be missing some required sprites.

thanks. Yeh the Demon terry (Terry in purple) project is coming after the awakened terry (terry in normal) Version is complete 100%. the beta of that is coming soon though.

Demon terry was my early shot at creating but i started over and Awakened terry made the cut first...





Anyway heres a new intro i did. The akuma Vs intro got changed.

(Vs Vyns Ken or certain evil alter ego chars that will happen)

2) Idle stance was somethin i was working on long ago and i finally got it to work.

(Again this is a last min move and you cant spam it. You have to be low on life and at lvl3. The Cpu can pull it off over and over after the first initial triggering. but in all good timing where he can get killed if he misses. So get it out of your head if ya think My char is "Zomg" unbeatable).

You notice that i added in the announcer speaking and Text words flashing on screen. I liked how the melty blood chars did that. I also wanted to take it a step further with some button smashing when you do a burn knuckle or buster wolf clashing with another char. sorta like the anime...but eh...the more i learn the more ill come up with....
