FIRST TIME CODING RIGHT A SUPER FOR ONE OF MY CREATIONS

Took me a good day n change to get down packed how to trigger a super  :9. I finally pull it off :w00t:. and sort of a Pots effect with it  :Plol
I still got a lot to learn...





and yeh there arent any hit sparks for this creation so far. i was basically just winging it between the two Terry Types i have 8-}...

I wanted to pull off a super so bad with a hyper portrait that i had to concentrate one night and get it right.

that Portrait ill hook up a bit more...gotta make it better. More to come. not bad for tryin eh? :-??

haha yeh i know :P. thats why i said i have to make it better. i was hype when i got it right and i really didnt adjust anything ^-^. i just went to make a video lol...
but im learnin though ;). i wanna get better at making clearer n sharper HYper Images. so im gettin tips here and there as of late...

anyway

heres a new video of the two terrys on CPU and The so called Orochi terry (for now) Using his Hyper effect...




right now im trying to get right coding in the "KO" Hyper finish look. GOt the code but im trying to make it work #:-S...

Updated the chars supers a bit more. effects and adjust the shine of the Hyper Cancel...



Awakened Terry. Added the effect of the floor Breaking up. and made a better Hyper portrait.

havent givin em hit sparks yet. been kinda busy. but will change up some things
with his supers.

For one He will have fire and lighting elements. His buster wolf im trying to come up with an Lighting
super to it.....which is his 2nd heavy super.

The other Normal supers will be Traditional but in the sense they will be the heavier super versions of
A normal Terry bogard us gamers know of... Those will be this terry's "Low grade supers" but still pack a punch though.  ;)get it?

these two chars wont be very traditional. traditional is boring *Iceman ThumbsDown!*.  i see that enough in the games i have normally so :-??.
i have some stuff im dyin ta pull off :O*D..

the more i learn the better ill get,,,but so far its fun creatin from scratch ;*))...

...man its like my Awakened Terry is way more aggressive than my demon terry :(|). i have no d@mn clue why :-??...maybe cuz i used different FF templates :(|)?? who knows but im dyin to learn AI coding better man....its frustrating gettin my char to respond right to the AI ~X(...if anybody has any tips lemme know. i got some lil insight but im just not gettin down the AI codin bit....but im still trying #:-S...

new video here of my testing Of the Super Buster Storm attack. and some cool lil adjustments. The move is fixed completely so that if He Misses he Goes into the right animated state instead of off the screen in a bad error. Made the supers chainable....ill be adding two last supers for em making it a total 4.

When the chars are at 90% ill start tweaking the levels of Power. Right now its just for my personal Usage to test stuff faster.

The demon Terry will be done over. I got some advice beacuase i used The fighter Factory electbyte Template for Demon terry and then started disliking my results. People kept saying was aweful to use and now i see why. My demon terry isnt very responsive on default AI among other things because of that in some weird way. My awakened Terry Is better it seems because i started him up different and using a Blank Template instead of Elecbyte player.

Anyway the rest of the sparks and normal animation frames will be put in since i finally got down packed creating super moves..The intros ill change also. Those were only tests.

Before I read on to the other posts, I thought you should not call him Orochi Terry but Awaken Terry in which you did. I think you should look into Fatal Fury the motion picture and his final fight against the God Armor he fights for some more inspiration. Cause he has that feel to him in the vids you made and that fight. He also does a very powerful version of Power Dunk and two supers that are only in the movie from what I know of (although you can argue his final attack was Buster Wolf).

Yeh the name was already decided a couple months ago. The orochi bit was somethin i just threw out there. Tried to change the name of My Topic's Headline a while ago but it doesnt let me :-?? haha..
And yes im familiar with The Fatal Fury movie. That movie and the SNK Vs Capcom comic series inspired me to Make this type of terry...
His Hyper Portraits You see in the Video are actually from that God Armor Movie. I had someone Make some nice portraits for me ;). The Original Hyper portrait i used (for Inferno Geyser) was from When he preparing to do a Power Wave super in the movie. But 8=| :( i couldnt get that image to look right using Photoshop so i went with what u see at the time. However His Power dunk super im working on Now is somethin to see when its done....Its a bit "Extra" ^-^...

Ok Im back from Virginia so i added in Two new effects for MY super Inferno Geyser move ^-^...
Basically i added in That flaming BG effect from GGX and another cool Firey Shield power up
in the begining of the super. Its supposed to be bringing out the look of the animation of em swinging back his fist for the Inferno Geyser....my adjust that stuff some more though...

oh also if you notice you can see the glowing eyes of terry in the BG through the GGX flames super cancel. I put it on top that explode coding for that Hyper Effect and it came out pretty wicked >:D

(Pardon the lag in the video.The GGX effect looks way smoother on the Pc 8=|)

Im sure yall understand by now My char type will be like GGX some ways also. The Pop Up Air Raid combo system is being cooked up right now...

Lil stuff like his Intro look, His hit sparks, Damage dealing and animations when hes thrown are still all in mind and will be fixed n tweaked better before release. dont worry about what you see on that. Im just tackling this complicated stuff with the supers first ~X(. He wont be some Zomg! Septhroth mugen char lol.....hell no [-X....just fun to use and cool to watch kick @ss 8).

lol i totally appreciate your feedback cuz i didnt like that look too much myself :P. My friends around the way want me to keep it that way but i dont want it like that. Which brings me to the next thing. Well i do want to have a pop up Air move situation going on but i dont want it by the super i want it like GGX where you hit maybe two buttons and the apponent goes into the air. The background changes a bit like GGXX and you get to do a Air combo and a particular super maybe. Im currently studying a couple of mugen characters who actually do that on a MVC level and ill use that same method. The rock hit will be adjusted. pay no mind to that. i just left it that. in the final days all the damages will be balanced just right ;)

So pretty much your mind is where mine is also :)....Ill tone that down with the hit velocity tho cuz that sh*t is a bit high lol..not gonna front. But if it can be worked out where i can code a nice combo system for em then it will make sense anyway in the end :-??

Ok peeps i pulled off somethin new with the Guidence of BC here. if it wasnt for him i woulda still been stuck at this and it woulda never happened for a long while....so props to him majorly...


ight I call this new effect "The mark of the Wolf"

I already explained to BC and his crew what im actually aiming to do with this effect here. I made this video today to show him i pulled it off and to show IMT whats next for Awakened Terry.


f.y.i again the Intro will be changed up...
But that effect i want that to happen only at certain times. Like when hes ready to pull off a certain super at a certain level when hes charged up for that. Im askin questions now with BC to see if thats possible. Color wise and everything like the Opacity of that image's blurr look if possible and tone it down a bit.

like i said i love GGX and SVC so my chars will be a mix of that god willing if i can code all that stuff together cleverly. so basically that Rare Akuma double vision effect will be like how in GGX when your cut on that Destroyer move to be executed. GGX is red. Mines will be colors of Blue, Red & Gold....signifying what super is about to happen. The Major supers at least.....

Maybe ill add electrical serges also when hes ready for that Buster Storm.
Or Bursts of Flames when hes ready for the Super Inferno Geyser


Demon Terry will have the "Hell Gate Geyser"....

:|.....haha funny DT. its just a name im giving the effect's look. The mark of the wolf is just "the sign" of death approaching....As im depicting in my own way...
with this aura effect im trying to make so that when you see this happening you know that its a curtain call for the Victim.
basically how when u see a char in Guilty gear XX goes in to that "Red aura" death MOde and you would probably wanna not get hit by that super move....feel me?

Now if i could get a werewolfs Aura to show like that around em then that would be hot......

but its just "a name" i gave the effect obviously DT lol....
and No i dont want it on all the time like that. Only during certain times.

Ok well i put together another special move for my terry i dubbed. "Blaze n Daze".
Im still fresh at certain settings so i couldnt get that move to hit faster than what u see but im workin on it.
After the Video i gave em a Red After Image while hes doing that. In this earlier video u dont see that though...

The Next one is called "Shock N Awe"

Particularly cuz This terry has Fire and Lightning elements...

-haha and again no i dont want that doubling effect on that whole time. that will be fixed too if i can-



Ok today i made a new video since Youtube is back to normal now

Pretty much im showin the update of the Blaze n Daze move and the testing of the Mark of the wolf effect i named (the rare Akuma doubling effect) coded a different way. i got it to trigger differently. It activates after i use the buster storm. So it tells me i can possibly use that effect differently. Plus the electrical serges u also see when i attack when its on are also coded together to trigger that same way sorta.

But anyway its just an effect. But that blaze n daze will have a lightning combo also...

Ok finally i added in a Charge move. Honestly its not how i really want it to be. The coding wasnt going right and still isnt so i left as is until i figure out the actual way i want it...the effects im still fiddling with...so this effect wont stay like that...

and also i added a cool new effect to the Super Buster storm. I added the dramatic "Anime Blast lines" effect...
i was watchin my friend play my new DBZ raging blast (which his hella hella cool and way better than crap @ss Burst limit) and got a bit influenced on the Anime tip ;*))


ill be addin the traditional Terry Bogard Hat Toss Win state soon. Its a must.
