Final Street Fighter -from Yotatouch-

Hi guys,

I'm new here and i wanted to say hello to everybody. :)

i'm making a game with the OpenBor engine but First, i'd like to apologyse if i am in the wrong section but there's nowhere a BOR section so i didn't know how to present my work and my sprites...

This is a  Final Fight Beat them all game, and i wanted to show you a video i made about one of my current wip char, Ken.
I took the third strike sprites as my basement sprites for the other classical anims, and i drawn the whole SF4 Shinryuken's sprites, 149 frames exactly. It tooks to me several nights to complete the anim but i can say the result isn't too bad, i let you judge about the result.

Hope you'll like it.
If you have some interests i'll post here more of my videos and sprites soon presenting the game.

Second...
At the moment, this forum is a Mugen forum so that's why you couldn't find a BOR section.
Don't worry, since the site is always open for new stuff as far as I know but since this section is for Mugen W.I.P.s
I'll move your topic to the videogames section at the moment and hope that your courage to post a BOR W.I.P. will make other BOR teams or creators to pop out too and maybe someday, we can have a BOR section around here.

Hope that you'll enjoy your stay around here. :thumbsup:

Really sorry Sasuke-Kun for this mistake...  :o and thanks for the rectification, newbie's mistakes.
I also hope the OpenBOR community will grow up than a new special section will come soon.

Thank you KudosForce, i'm glad to be here cause i see a lot of good and serious workers here, hope i'll be at least equal, hehe...
And yes, i drawn every frames myself, watching the SF4 Ultra's in my second computer's screen, it tooks me a lot of time to do this, but i can say that the result isn't so bad, hey.

Thank you CarlosKillar3675, i really love SF4 Ultra's of Ken, esthetically, so i tried to be the most closer i can with the original 3D one.

You're not slow at all.
OpenBor is an engine to create a beat them all, exactly like MUGEN to create a 2D versus fighting.
Works methods aren't exactly the same but you have a lot of possibilities and can make (almost?) everything you want. I don't know every stuffs but bosses of the engine can do what they wants.
I'm trying with their helps to make the game i wish to build.

your Ken is one word....AWESOME!!!!!! :o :thumbsup: :thumbsup: one of the best i have seen . make him a full on playable mugen character with his sf4 move and you got one amazing character to play with. Welcome to IMT man!

If you want the OpenBor Engine, you can go here and get it:
Sff files isn't a format for OpenBor, you'll have to work on gif format which the engine recognizes.
Cns; cmd; def etc files won't work too.
You need a txt files for your char, and scripts and other sprites needs txt files too.

Hi all,

A topic to give you informations about the game, and show you some current wips.
To concern the game's BG's:
they will be completly redrawn, i don't want an old aspect of the game, and decided to do everything myself. I'll try to add some elements on bg's which will be destroyed when a hit will touchn like windows or classical drumbs, barrels, etc...

About the enemies:
i'll redraw from zero the whole enemies sprites, only few chars like Andore will uses sprites from 3rd strike.
Every chars will have a lot of sprites edits, especially for the pains and falls, as you can see here. All for the new Guy's, Ryu's, Ken's attacks, and certainly Cody and Haggar that aren't worked yet (And of course, for ChunLi and/or Maki too if i'll include them).
I show you here an example of some sprites edits i made for pains and falls.

The currents sprites aren't the definitive ones of course as you can guess, they were scaled from my first char size which was the Final Fight snes resolution. Since i changed and made the game to the same resolution than FF arcade, here is the dirty rescaled sprites. I'll redraw Axl and all enemies but before this, i have to define the whole pains and falls anims frames i need, then i'll start to redraw properly everything.

Here is the old stand and the one i made few days ago, but i'm not satisfied, colors aren't too bad but the stance need to be reworked. He needs more 'testosteron' if i can say so.


About the playable chars, i used for Ken and Ryu, the 3rd strike base, and i'll incorporate a lot of edits for them, as the Shinryuken from SF4 for Ken as you already saw. But i'll have to clean the whole originales frames cause i had to resize all sprites due to the scale, then, actually, Ryu's and Ken's sprites are a little dirty, not clean, so i'll clean the whole frames for them.
That's exactly the same case for Guy, except that he's from Street Fighter Zero's sprites. So for these 3 chars, it's 1) resize 2) edits sprites 3) clean sprites.
I'll maybe add ChunLi and/or Maki too, that will be the same situation.
About Cody and Haggar, i'll start from zero, as my enemies chars. I already started Cody's sprites and it's not too bad so far.

Me too, i really like 2D beat them all game style.
I'm trying to keep you interested to the project hey.
And about it, here's a little update for Cody.

I made his 'stand' animation.
I'll change 2 or 3 stuffs but anyway, that's what i made.
Didn't really like his SF03 stand anim, so i tried to make more 'animation' movement.
Hope you'll like it.

dude that looks really cool. my big complaint wit him in alpha 3 was that he looked too chubby. what you did here is a massive improvement IMO.
