I can probably get some sounds for him, but please PLEASE don't go with voice actors on this one...

(OR do, so far Zivitor you've more then earned the benefit of the doubt quality wise. If you go with voice actors, I would probably assume you picked ones better then normal voice clips and such...)

Oh and I LOVE the sprite work on him!  Really excited for this WIP....

I'd go with Worksa on this one and try sound clips from video games (possibly movie as well) over voice actors first. Unless you find someone that can get the voice near what he sounded like in the movies.

Aside from the voice though, if I were you, I'd consider asking the spriters to try and get some new standing kicks for him. Those Muay Thai kicks really don't fit him, especially the HK. I'd suggest trying some of Sabretooth's kicks as they'd probably fit better, or possibly Venom. Maybe even a resized Zangief could work.

Now it's my turn to agree with Batzarro. Some more basic kicks, ones that seem to lack and real martial arts knowledge might be your best bet. Maybe for a heavy kick, a strong like "sparta" type push kick?...

He looks really good.  I agree to get some sound clips from the movies if possible, as Ron Pearlman is... frickin' awesome.  That is all.  

But yeah, he seems a little small for Hellboy right now... maybe it's just that he was up against Blackheart, but he didn't really feel like a heavyweight.  Again, the Muay Thai kicks look kinda funny.  Also, maybe his gun animation should be a bit slower.  I never thought of HB as much of a quick-draw, more of a powerhouse when it comes to firearms.

Looks promising, though.  I can't wait to see how Red turns out!

He has quite a few 'ugh' and 'argh' moments in the movies, so sound clips shouldn't be too hard to get.. it's just making them short enough and getting rid of background and music noise would be the harder part...

Also... why take the coat off? Doesn't he fight with his coat on?

ATICE< I can answer that one for you. That coat looked like it took quite a long time to sprite and match to his breathing animation alone, doing that for a whole character would take a lot of hard sprite work, I'm sure he/she wants to avoid.

As for the gun, I agree with that as well. Maybe make it a bit slower, but stronger then most mugen characters with guns. I mean, that IS one MASSIVE revolver, not the Punisher's pistol y'know>?

Also voiced Clayface on TAS, that might be something worth looking into as well.
