^ Well, yeah, but it's not like any of the other characters are all that close to being finished.  Unless, of course, Airman has been worked on all this time, though it's been forever since I've heard from the poor guy...  :-??

A good question. I have focused solely on spriting him, agreeing with Laspacho to send him the sprites so that he would look for someone to code Darkman.

By the way, Darkman's sprites are 100% done! :w00t:

Now it's official. Darkman will be joining the mayhem!

The progress so far:

All sprites are DONE! However I'll still make some minor adjustments to some sprites.
I also want to add a new special move, since by now I've just sprited two (a common projectile and a paralization projectile).

Feel free to give any suggestions.

by the way, are you going to post him in the M.U.G.E.N releases?
i really wanna try him out on mugen.

@laspacho I've talked with @Mistah Jorge and we will work together on Dark Man :)
I've sent him all Dark Man file and he will be taking a look.

I made him feel free to choose to just set up the SFF or go programming the character. @Magma MK-II  has already left several references and there is only one stroke that I want to program myself. And his voices I take care of later (I already have ideas).

Time for this character to finally see the light of day :)

Added some new palettes, courtesy of Psykai (palettes 2, 3, 4 and 12)

(maybe I will change the last one)

Power sets 1 - 4 done:

Power Set 1 (default) - Dark Net
Lokcs the target for a while, leaving it open to combos


Power Set 2 - Tank Mode
Jumps foward and then dives over the target. If the movement hits the enemy, it passes over him on the ground.
Always change to the green palette while executing the move


Power Set 3 - Shooter Mode
Jump back and shoot some projectiles (1-3), depending on the button pressed.
Changes to the purple palette while executing the move


Power Set 4 - Proto Mode
Dashes forward (and diagonally too, depending of the button pressed).
Changes to the Proto Man palette while executing the move

   - New special - Power Slam (DP+P)
   - Removed air throw

Gonna add Electromagnetic Barrier with Grey color as a set?
   - Power Set 5 - Shield mode added (absorbs projectiles and damage upon hit, while rotating around the player)


     You can throw the shields if you input the same command again.

@Jelux Da Casual and I made it even better: each button controls how fast the shields will spin around it and the speed when they are thrown against P2.
The weaker the button, slower it spins...but FASTER if will be thrown against the target :)
